Shaq to Cleveland, pending owner approval.
Shaq to Cleveland, pending owner approval.
Cleveland still isn't going to win shit next year. Boston has a better chance of making the Finals next season.
Seriously. I honestly think they'll suck shit in the regular season (like PHX) did, and then not be all that much better in the playoffs (where PHX never experienced Shaq as they didn't even make it).
Cleveland is a slow team though compared to where Phoenix was not use to slowing down the game for a individual, I think Shaq is a good fit in there.
Of course that's assuming Shaq has the same mentality he had in Phoenix.
Cleveland didn't lose a damn thing to obtain Shaq. It was a good move for Cleveland with nothing to lose but some money.
I think it was a great trade for Cleveland. They gave up next to nothing, and got Shaq. Now they need a perimeter Defender, and they will see the Spurs in the Finals next year.
They need a perimeter shooter who isn't going to lay over and die like Mo Williams did. The trade will help tremendously against Orlando though, a team they've had problems with. They won't have to drop down and double up on Howard as much, leaving their perimeter game wide open.
jamal crawford to the Hawks is the best trade so far. god damn they will be so fun to watch

This will be alot of fun to watch.
Kinda stupid imo, Crawford is a fucking ball hog in the purest since of the word. He's that nigga you see at the gym that will get the inbound pass, dribble and try to cross over a team and jack a 3 pointer only to hit nothing but air.
I mean with Joe Johnson, Al Horford, Mike Bibby, Josh Smith there wont be enough shots to go around for Crawford. Anyone in this area that gets Hawks shit on TV knows that Smith often gets upset with the amount of shots, or lack thereof, that he receives every few games. This is a shit trade and make no sense at all, Crawford can light it up with the best of them but you know from his time in GS and in NY that he is not a role player and will not concede shots to anyone.
This is the end of Mike Williams, he's reaching and it'll be interesting to watch the shit storm incoming from Atl this season. This is going to be a huge mess lol which I don't mind, I cant stand the Hawks anyway.
On a funny note, I still have a trophy from when I was younger where I bowled with Dell Curry in a Adult/kids doubles tournament here in Charlotte. (Yes fuck you guys, I bowled in kids/teenage leagues for a loooong time) He signed the back of our score sheet when were were done (we finished 4th) but on the back it has all kinds of scribbles and what not from a then 5 year old Stephen Curry and a 3 year old Seth Curry who is now at Duke.
Funny how that 5 year olds kid scribbles now possibly belongs to a top 5 pick in the NBA draft. If I knew then what I knew now lol.... I mean I threw away countless scribbles and shitty pictures drawn by this "kid" for many months when they would come to bowl late nights during the week, I would have fucking kept them and hawked the fuck out of them.![]()
As long as the continue to suck I'll be happy.
The Atlanta trade will add more scoring depth. We all know nobody on that team can stay health for a whole season anyways, might as well have more scoring options right
Farmar's on the trading block.
Get a backup shooting guard please, Vujacic ain't doing shit and Kobe is too old to play 40 min a game.
Farmar will be a nice pick up for someone willing to pull the trigger.
Sources: New Jersey Nets-Orlando Magic talks include Vince Carter, Rafer Alston - ESPNThe New Jersey Nets are in serious talks with the Magic about a deal that will send Vince Carter to Orlando for Rafer Alston, Tony Battie and Courtney Lee, two league sources told ESPN.com.
The talks have reached a point that a deal could be done by the end of the day Thursday, according to sources.
sux for Alston, but damn the East is getting friggin exciting
So the Magic are like "Wow. You guys go out and get an aging Center because you're scared shitless by Dwight Howard? Okay. We'll match your deal and go get an aging superstar in Vince Carter to match you! Beat that!"
Seems like a "Who's dick is bigger" contest so far in the East, and I still think it sucks outside of like.. three teams.
Not only that, but trading Courtney Lee would be a HUGE mistake. The sort of mistake that Dallas made with trading Devon Harris to the Nets.
