Spurs gunna trade Finley and Bonner for Vince Carter.
Spurs gunna trade Finley and Bonner for Vince Carter.
I doubt the Marion O'neal trade is going to do much for each team. Each player is going to a team that has systems not that different from their old teams.
As for the Finley Bonner -> Carter, I would hope thats not even a ongoing possibility or the Nets just got screwed big time.
bonner? really? did no one in spurs' management see what that kid just do a couple nights ago?
damn, i was hoping they'd keep their boring shit going until the nba dies off
Theres a rumor going around that Terry Porter just got fired.
"The Nets attempted and failed in a last ditch effort to acquire Shawn Marion from the Heat and are now focused on working on a trade with the Spurs.
New Jersey offered Vince Carter and an expiring contract for Marion with the presumed intention to re-sign him, but were refuted.
The Nets have spoken with several teams in regards to Carter's value and the most likely trade would send Carter to San Antonio for Roger Mason, George Hill, Fabrico Oberto and Bruce Bowen.
They would likely waive both Bowen and Oberto, along with a third player currently on their roster."

I think the Nets are trying to screw themselves.
Why would you waive someone like Bowen when you've got one of the worst defenses in the league? Surely if they actually make that trade they'd make better choices on the waiving
Well if the Spurs get Vince Carter, at least they will decrease their level of boredom... but the Nets would become an hero if they do that deal.
Dwight Howard just made a dunk on a rim that's 12 feet instead of the standard height, and made it look easy. That man is ridiculous.
Fuckin Nate Robinson is insane.
Dwight Howard is too, but the dunks he does don't look as impressive because Dwight does it so easily. Nate might win this due to him being super short and the underdog.
How did Dwight get a 50 on his first dunk? That was like a 44-46 dunk. 50 off of reputation. His off the side of the backboard dunk was the most impressive imo.

Dwight should have put that board higher or windmilled it, it didn't look very hard from 12 feet and nobody in the crowd seemed impressed at all.
Wtf at Nate using Wilson Chandler as a stool....now the dudes probably injured.
Love Nate Robinson jumping over Dwight, but this year was a disappointment. I guess since last year was so awesome it was pretty much certain that this year won't be as good.
i think if dwight re organized his dunks he would have won it..
Nate barely got on that dude's back. another half step forward and he might've blown his knee or something.
Yeah, if he did the off the side of the backboard, I think he would've won.
nah, he should've saved the superman scene for the last dunk. just the buildup for it would've won the competition for him
Haha, yeah. That too. I think it was awesome that he offered to help Nate out with his dunk. That's true sportsmanship right there.
Don't forget the other big news though; LeBron in the dunk contest next year.
Wade needs to get his ass in there too.
Every player who classifies himself as a superstar needs to get their ass in there. The dunk contest/3 point contest should be a right of passage to becoming a true superstar in the league. Unless of course your just unable to jump that high or can't shoot aka rondo/parker type point guards which I guess is what the skills contest is for.
