Can you imagine being Chandler and going back to the Hornets? lol
Awkward as hell

Well I know that the Hornets didn't want to get rid of him. David West and Chris Paul especially, so I'm sure they are happy. I think the Chandler trade was basically for cap room, so the head office is gonna be like "Uh... yeah. Sorry dawg."
Well, if I understand it correctly, NO was doing it because it's starting to cost a lot of money to keep the franchise in New Orleans, so they needed to get back some extra money. NO can only really support one team right now, and that's the Saints for sure, so I dunno what this will do to them now.
I just heard about the trade being rescinded. Damn, gonna be really awkward for all those players to return to their teams lol.
Yeah, they weren't doing it to get other players, just freeing up some cash. The Knicks have been looking for trades to free up space to re-sign David Lee this summer, since he's likely going to want a bigger deal. I'm personally curious what they're going to do with Nate Robinson when his contract runs out after next season. The way he's been playing, he'll want a bigger contract most likely, and from what it sounds like they're wanting some of the big fish in the market that year. He just might end up being a necessary casualty in NY's attempts to get LeBron that year.
Yeah, he'll definitely want more money, but I've heard that they don't like him there a lot of the times because of his "it's all about me" personality. I guess it's like that a lot in New York.
NY has been freeing up cap space for the free agents coming up though, not just resigning Lee to a longer contract.
Wow Kobe was really active tonight...2 monster dunks, 2 insane blocks. (Amongst other things ofc)
I bet the Suns wish they could play the Clips every night LOL. 282 points in two games.
Everyone is trying to free up room for 2010 so they can have a chance at Lebron.
Cavs discuss deal for Shaq
By Adrian Wojnarowski and Johnny Ludden, Yahoo! Sports 7 hours, 56 minutes ago
The Phoenix Suns are discussing a potential trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers which would pair Shaquille O’Neal with LeBron James for a run at the NBA title, two NBA executives familiar with the talks said Thursday morning.
In return, the Cavaliers would send Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to the Suns.
No deal is imminent, but sources say the two teams have been talking about the potential trade for two days now. A Cavs official didn’t deny the talks but said the team was leaning against making a move.
Cleveland is also considering a deal with Milwaukee for Richard Jefferson which would send back the expiring contract of Wally Szczerbiak, a league executive said.
With two and a half hours till the 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, a source involved in the negotiations said that there had been no further movement toward a deal. But the scenario remained alive.
Hughes traded to Knicks
The Chicago Bulls have reached agreement to trade guard Larry Hughes to the New York Knicks for Tim Thomas and Jerome James, two NBA executives said.
McCants traded
The Minnesota Timberwolves have reached agreement on a deal that sends Rashard McCants and Calvin Booth to the Sacramento Kings for Sheldon Williams and Bobby Brown.
Time is running out!
fuck rockets are dead in the water now... traded alston for lowry wtf
The rockets still have Brooks.
Hmm, I actualy think a trade for shaq will help some but not much, we still need another good scorer.
They said the Cavs trade for Shaq is off....thankfully. A team with Lebron and a rejuvenated Shaq is dangerous.
FOX Sports on MSN - NBA - Celtics trade O'Bryant to Raptors
*********************
The Boston Celtics have traded backup center Patrick O'Bryant to Toronto for point guard Will Solomon — and then will ship Solomon to Sacramento for a second-round pick.
According to sources close to the situation, Boston will make the move to clear a roster spot.
O'Bryant, 22, was in his first season with Boston and had averaged 1.5 points in 26 games this season. He was signed in the offseason after two years in Golden State.
Solomon has spent most of his career overseas, but averaged 4.9 points this season with Toronto.

A nothing move that won't help the Raptors push forward. Firing Sam Mitchell was such a mistake. At least deadweight Jermaine O'Neal is gone.
Oh, I'm not trying to start anything. I actually like Nate too, but I heard he can be a little troublemaker at times, and D'antoni didn't like that sometimes. I think he's awesome though, but it's what I heard from different sources, one of which being SC obviously. It's not nearly as big of an issue as say.. Artest though, Haha.
Damn those Knicks for wanting to keep NateAlthough I'm not quite sure how the Kings thought Kenny Thomas was going to get them both Robinson and Jeffries. If I were the Knicks I would've turned that down too
