Good games last night. Spurs won, but they miss Manu badly. Celtics played well after Garrnet got hurt. The way he reacted after he got hurt would worry me if I was a Celtics fan.

I was pissed that the Knicks got Larry Hughes. He is TERRIBLE. But then I looked it up and realized we got rid of two terrible players for just one. Dump that jobber Hughes at the end of the season.
brb putting on my Charles Oakley jersey to make me feel better.

A sigh of relief the Shaq trade didn't go through. Lebron + a healthy rejuvinated Shaq pretty much says bye bye to the rest of the Eastern Conference.
Amar'e out for 8 weeks because he was too dumb to wear ze goggles!
Suns star Stoudemire out after eye surgery
22 minutes ago
PHOENIX (AP)—The Phoenix Suns say star forward Amare Stoudemire will be out about eight weeks after eye surgery.
The surgery to repair a partially detached retina in Stoudemire’s right eye was performed Friday morning. Suns general manager Steve Kerr says the long-term prognosis is excellent and he should have 100 percent recovery of his vision.
Stoudemire is the Suns’ leading scorer for the third year in a row and is averaging 21.4 point and 8.1 rebounds per game this season. He started for the Western Conference in last weekend’s NBA All-Star game.
Woooow. Are you kidding me? Holy shit, rofl. That's got to be.... wow. That's just sad. Really sad. He was playing so well lately too in the last couple games, and now he's out because of an eye injury? Suns are fucked now.
Sucks too cause it was meaningless blowout game. Its the same eye that was injured in training camp.
Brooks is not starting PG material yet... I am pretty sure Rafer was going to have a great stretch of games from now to the playoffs for the Rockets...![]()
what....the fuck
YouTube - Devin Harris Amazing Game Winning Shot..Sixers vs. Nets..Buzzer Beater
what?
The fuck?
Wow now thats a horse shot
That shot was amazing. Dwight Howard's one handed 85 footer was good too.
Marbury got bought out, guess hes probably going to the Celtics.
So anyone see what Tony Parker did to the Mavs and Blazers? Nobody could guard him. No Duncan and Manu and the Spurs still destroyed two teams that might be playing in the playoffs.
Also did anyone see Lebron's underhanded onehanded half court shot?
Also LOL @ the Celtics. Will they become the NBA version of the Cowboys?
Celtics guard Pruitt arrested for DUI in Hollywood
2 hours, 53 minutes ago
LOS ANGELES (AP)—Boston Celtics guard Gabe Pruitt apologized Thursday after he was stopped on a Hollywood street and arrested for investigation of misdemeanor drunken driving.
Pruitt was pulled over around 3 a.m., hours after playing five minutes in the Celtics’ 93-91 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. He failed a field sobriety test, police said.
He was released at 8:30 a.m. on $5,000 bail, police Officer April Harding said.
Pruitt is from the Los Angeles area and played college basketball for Southern California.
“I sincerely apologize for my actions which have caused unnecessary embarrassment to my family, my team, and the Celtics organization,” the 22-year-old Pruitt said in a statement issued by the team. “I used poor judgment and I am really disappointed in myself.”
“I made a mistake and I have learned a valuable lesson,” he said.
Pruitt was detained for stopping at a green light and because his Mercedes S550 had dark tinted windows that are illegal in California, Harding said.
The 22-year-old Pruitt scored three points in five minutes of the Celtics' 93-91 loss to the Clippers before (apparently) hitting the bottle with friends. He is from the Los Angeles area and played college ball at the University of Southern California.
So to recap: Stephon Marbury says he'll sign the vet's minimum with Boston, Paul Pierce dislocates his thumb, twice, the Celtics lose to one of the worst teams in the league and their back-up guard gets busted for a DUI — all in the span of, what, 24, 48 hours?
DUI reminds me more of the Chargers atm![]()
I knew Gabe Pruitt can't drive the lane, but I never thought he'd get arrested for it.
Gooden commits to sign with Spurs
By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports 14 hours, 55 minutes ago
Forward Drew Gooden has committed to sign with the San Antonio Spurs after he clears waivers Wednesday morning, two league executives said Tuesday evening.
Gooden was released by the Sacramento Kings late Sunday, making him eligible to play for another team during the playoffs. The Spurs expect to sign Gooden for about $1.5 million, the remainder of their midlevel exception. The contract keeps the team below the NBA’s luxury-tax threshold.
Gooden’s imminent signing also comes as the Cleveland Cavaliers have reached agreement with forward Joe Smith, an Eastern Conference executive said.
Gooden averaged 13.1 points and 8.6 rebounds in 31 games with the Chicago Bulls before he was traded to the Kings on Feb. 18. The Kings reached a buyout agreement with Gooden that saved the franchise about $1.8 million.
Gooden recently has battled a groin injury, but the Spurs are comfortable with giving him as much time as needed to heal in hopes he’ll be ready for the playoffs.
Spurs officials, who have looked for frontcourt help and tried to trade for Los Angeles Clippers center Marcus Camby, envision Gooden as a backup to Matt Bonner.
i think mavs might pull this one off
