Tonight the Spurs play the Bobcats(they are playing well lately and possible Trap game before the Lakers on Thursday), and the Mavs play the Suns.

I never wished a Laker got hurt. I said I hoped nobody got hurt. The way Stee was talking he wouldnt be surprised if the Spurs tried to kill Kobe. The Spurs are the Gentlemen of the league and are always leaders in least amount of fouls and Technical fouls. They are last in personal fouls committed %.

I'm sure you can remember that.

Then you have had incidents of Bowen kneeing Nash in the groin, kicking Chris Paul in the face while he was on the ground, trips Stoudemire while hes in the air

And if you ever watch him play defense, whenever his opponent takes a jumpshot he slides his feet right under his opponent so when they land they land on his feet causing turned ankles, which has happened multiple times.

Then the Spurs took one of my favorite Laker players of all time and turned Big Shot Rob into Cheap Shot Rob.

Not to mention whenever Ginoblli appears on court you feel like your watching a broadway show, and yes the magnitude of his flopping is considered dirty.

So yes, everytime a team plays the Spurs they are risking a pretty high percentage of injury.

That being said, Duncan seems like the nicest guy in the NBA but his team has a history of dirty plays.

I would say the Celtics are dirty too since they get away with so many arm bars, hand checking and illegal screens but compared to how Bowen plays its nothing.

    Personal Fouls
    San Antonio Spurs 18.8%

They are last in fouls. You should do your homework. Remember your Kobe is a Cheap shot artist too. First, it was Manu Ginobili. Then, it was Marko Jaric.

Every team has moments when bad fouls happen. Horry got suspended as he should have. Bruce Lee Bowen plays hard defense, the flying side kick was and accident as he got stuck in mid air.

Shit happends and you should get suspended for it.

What's been said about the Spurs is true. They may have the lowest % of fouls committed in the NBA and don't commit them in bulk, but really.. it seems like those particular fouls are fairly hard/dirty fouls. Bowen's been dirty for a long time. No need to defend him. Manu should be an artist, he flops so damn much. Tony Parker and Tim Duncan are fine, but those two are just so.. bleh. Big Cheap Shot Bob was good in LA as far as the non-retarded fouls, but I suppose that's Spurs ball.

A spurs fan claiming that his team isn't dirty is one thing, but going as far to say that they're the gentleman of the league couldn't be any more dumb and assbackwards.

Like Aki said, it's no coincidence that Horry became 'Cheap Shot Bob' when he came to SA. That team just knows how to work the refs, and if you can't see that then you're fucking blind.

I wanted to share a neat and sad story from the papers here today. I know anyone in ACC country knows Rodney Rodgers, but more people remember that he also played 12 years in the NBA most notably for the Suns, Nets and Nuggets where he won 6th man of the year.

tl;dr Anyway, he was paralyzed from the neck down in a dirt bike accident here in North Carolina. Sad story but a very good read.

So it's the refs fault. And since you are a Rockets fan it can't be helped if you are slightly biased, Utah has kept you out of round 2 for how long?

I'm a Phoenix fan by the way, and don't particularly care for Utah or Houston.

I thought it was more like T-Mac keeping them out of Round 2 moreso than another team.

McGrady doesn't show up for 4th quarter but it's not entirely his fault.

I think whenever a Houston Rocket puts on their uniform, the uniform starts sucking the calcium out of their bones. That's the only explanation for why players just crumple to the floor the second they get traded to the Rockets.

Hahahaha. I dunno. Maybe it's only for the current Rockets players... but the Rockets have played better without T-Mac lately. It seems like the one guy they can't lose is Yao Ming over T-Mac.

Yeah in all seriousness theyre a pretty damn dangerous team.

Beside Yao, they have Battier and Artest.

Theyre going to give the Lakers a crapload of trouble tonight since the Lakers bench is in a slump. Then you got Battier and Artest taking turns guarding Kobe.

Man Artest....you do not trash talk with Kobe.

I've seen it so many times and players still do it. You just don't trash talk with Kobe, he's going to take it to you.

Since Odom was suspended for this game, hopefully he will be able to carry the rest of the team tomorrow. Stupid back to backs.

I thought this was a great line from Mike Trudell ...

"Note to Ron Artest: Kobe doesn’t need extra motivation."

Doesn't the entire league know by now what happens when Kobe gets pissed?

What was even more hilarious was that Artest at the end of the game just kept telling Kobe like 10 times he loves him.

I mean I know they go way back to when they were kids but its a basketball game.

You've always been questionable but you just vaulted yourself to biggest retard in the thread. Give it a rest.

Also, I'm pleased to hear that Ariza will be starting for the Lakers and excited to see how this change will work out for them.
