KG is a punk too. He was talking shit to the bulls bench.

Funny thing is he wasn't talking shit when they were down for most of the game. I lost alot of respect for KG today.

I don't think it was a flagrant, it looked like Rondo was trying to block the guys vision and ended up smacking him in the face. Horrible foul? Yeah. Not an intentional flagrant though.

I wish they would've given them it though, I wanted another OT

I think any time you smack someone in the head and you are not even close to the ball, it should be a Flagrant. Olde School basketball will disagree.

Tony Parker was trying to get some of the other Spurs involved in the game, and they turned the ball over or missed their shots. Bonner and Mason are nowhere to be found.

KG has always been a moron, he just showed more of it this season.

Taunting at barely 6 feet tall point guards shows just how tough he really is. The second he gets into it with someone the size of Odom he backs the fuck down.

no he doesn't. everyone around the league considers KG crazy. the point guard in question was the just the first one to actually bitch back at him.

He did it twice, once to Calderon and once to Bayless from Portland all in this season. Both of these guys barely 6 feet.

Well, see you Spurs time to rebuild.

Btw the Mavs coach looks like a mean version of Jim Carrey, everytime I hear him talk in a interview I expect him to burst out with a goofy laugh.

Question for the Lakers fans. In general, do you guys think the extra time off before the next round will help or hurt the team?

I wish the Spurs would have rebuilt more season. Hopefully this early exit will be the wake up call Pop needed to finally get some real players.

See ya, Bonner, Thomas, Oberto. See ya maybe Mason, Bowen, Finley.

You know towards the end of the game, the ONLY person on the bench that looked concerned/pissed we were losing was Bruce Lee Bowen. I would like to have him back still. Spurs need more people like him.

Spurs Bench is old, too old. You can have old starters, I mean Dallas has Dirk and Kidd - but bench play won this series. Spurs don't have a guy that can sub in for Timmy really off the bench.

Yeah the Mavs role players really stepped it up. Even when the Spurs stopped Dirk and Terry, the bench just killed the Spurs bench. GL to the Mavs in the next round, they are gunna need it.

Yeah who knows - went 0-4 against Denver in regular season, but 3 of those games were by 3 or less points and one by 10. And Josh Howard didn't play in 2 of those games. Plus, as the season went on, it just seems the Mavs bench has slowly come into its own, Dirk doesn't have to score 25+ a game just to make sure they win, and that pressure off him makes him a better player in other areas.

I'm thinking it'll hurt them. Last year they beat the Spurs in game 5 and iirc Celtics and Cavs went to game 7. So Lakers got a bit more time off and well we all know how Lakers Celtics turned out. I'm not saying that's why they lost the series, but too much time off imo can throw your game off.

I just hope Bynum is taking the time to get his game back instead of chilling with playmates.

It depends on the situation though. If you are about to go into a series where you'll be guarding a mammoth like Lebron James for two straight weeks, you're going to need as much rest you can possibly get going into a series like that.

    True. Shit's situational.
In this case I don't see them getting rest a bad thing going against either Houston or Portland.

Some rest might benefit Ariza and Walton at least.

Meh. Lakers swept the Cavs this year and Lebron averaged less than 20 points in those 2 games. I'm not that worried about meeting Cleveland in the finals.

I have to say that I'm really enjoying the playoffs so far. Chicago has been amazing against Boston - some of the best basketball I've seen all year.
