San Antonio(3) vs Dallas(6) ---- Winner: San Antonio (if Duncan healthy) in 6
Portland(4) vs Houston (5) ----- Winner: Houston (if Artest stops taking stupid shots) in 7

    Eastern Conference

    Cleveland(1) vs Detroit 8 ------ Winner: Cleveland in 4 or 5
    Boston(2) vs Chicago(7) ------ Winner: Boston in 6
    Orlando(3) vs Philadelphia(6) ---- Winner: Orlando in 5

yeah because winning one series IF Duncan was healthy is equal to getting to the western conference finals. Apparently you don't know how the playoffs work.

Unless he grows another foot, his teammates are going to be the ones that need to beat the Lakers.
You seem to be forgetting that Lebron took last years Celtics (one of the best help defenses of all time) to 7 games, by himself. There is no doubt in my mind that he not only will manage, but get into the lane whenever he damn well pleases. Especially with the help of Mo Williams.

However, the same can be said of Kobe Bryant against the Cavs.

I honestly don't think the series is going to be decided by the team's best players, but moreseo by matchups.
We all know that Kobe and Lebron are going to get theirs no matter what.

    That leaves:
Zydrunas vs. Bynum : Right now you have to give the edge to Zydrunas. However, I think they'll probably cancel each other out over the course of the series.

Gasol vs. Verajao: Great matchup. Verejao is going to bother the shit out of Pau. And I guarentee that you will see Gasol differ the ball more on offense.

Odom/Ariza vs. West: obvious advantage goes to Lakers.

Fisher vs. Williams: HUGE advantage for the Cavs. This will be the deciding factor for the series. Fisher can't keep up with Williams, which means they won't be able to double team Lebron as long as Williams is on the court.

And the benches are probably equal, but I'd also give a slight advantage to the Cavs.

People still looking down on the Mavs, fools.

Totally different team than during the regular season, and their bench is ridiculous. When Dirk doesn't have to take everything on his shoulders every game and forced to score 25+ he is a much better player.

The Denver series during the regular season was misleading, 3 games decided by 3 points or less, and Josh Howard didn't play in two of them.

Not to take anything away from Lebron's ability but I don't think the series last year would have lasted 7 games if Ray Allen actually showed up that series. Not to mention it took the Celtics 7 games vs the Hawks the series right before that.

Also while the Celtics had a really good defensive team last season they didn't have the size advantage and length the Lakers have this season.

I think what the series is really going to come down to....that is if they even play eachother....is rebounding. It's how Odom was able to spark the team to win on the Cavs home floor and probably how the Lakers were able to win at Staples...I forget.

Already had a few lead changes/ties. Gonna be a long night. I'm glad too, because I thought we'd have a repeat of Atlanta/Boston Game 7 from last year where Boston won in the first quarter.

Of course knowing that, Boston's gonna go on a 22-2 run or something before half.

Way too many 3s, each team is taking turns going cold from long range. It's not like they're not going inside either, they just can't finish their shots.
