A lot of their bench players are playing well thanks to their reduced roles. It's a lot easier to look good when you only have to do it in 5-10 minute spurts.

If Gasol/Bynum went down, they're still the same exact team that got trounced in the finals last year.

The Laker's depth is what makes them good is it not? Most teams aren't going to have that depth come April- LA included.
