Sad news for old basketball fans Remember Wayman Tisdale from the Suns and Kings from back in the day? He played with KJ, Majerle, Barkley and them, anyway he died today at the age of 44 from cancer.

Seeing Phil off the bench last night made me realize he is really worried about the Rockets and his own team.

He rarely shows that level of concern. The fact that the Rockets are beating the mighty Lakers with no All-stars, makes me really love basketball. Team > all. The Lakers have tons of talent compared to the Rockets, a real championship team would be done with the Rockets already. I think its cause Kobe's teammates hate him, they like him as a player, but hate him personally. This is what separates him from LeBron, Duncan, Shaq, Magic, Bird, and Jordan, and even Billups. Those Champions(and future champ) were and are absolutely loved by their teammates.

The lakers have never been able to defend the high post pick and roll with fast pgs. No matter what team, that's their kryptonite, so I can't say I'm really too surprised...I just wish they played consistently on offense ;<

This Laker fan at work actually blamed the Lakers loss on injuries. Holy shit, I had to tear him apart. He said Lamer Scrotum and Bynum were hurt, and that was why Scola was killing them. I LOL'd at him and LOL'd at the Lakers for having to Double team Scola. Then I mentioned that the Rockets are missing Yao, McGrady, and Mutumbo. The players the Rockets are missing are better than the half injured players that are on the Floor for the Lakers.
