That is one of the best sports stories of the year so far. It's hilarious. Vince called him out to a cage match for the arena. They had a bit on Mike and Mike (whom I'm never a fan of) of what it would be like if they held both on the same floor at the same time. Hilarity ensued. Say what you want about wrestling and Vince McMahon, but he's a fucking marketing genius. I wouldn't put it past him to have researched the NBA schedule and knew this was a possibility and salivated knowing that it could come to fruition.

Fisher is a monument to everything that is wrong with the Lakers in the post season. Only truly awesome about 10% of the time. The remainder he languishes somewhere between good enough and just plain bad.

Btw while Ariza did make that key play, I really wish Ariza would be a better man to man defender rather then a roamer.

We need 2 solid defenders on Billups and Carmelo.

This also might go down as a hell of a underrated performance by Kobe. You always see Kobe either be a lockdown defender or a scorer, hardly both. But the first two quarters of the game he shut down Billups then in the 2nd half he had to switch to Carmelo who scored 4-6?? on him while scoring 40.

But Kobe is too light and too short to guard Carmelo and I doubt he will be able to do this all series long. We need Ariza to be able to take care of the other guy Kobe isn't guarding.
