yeah I was happy they kept going, I was hoping Kobe or Phil would just tell them to play hard to the last second which they did.

Radmonovic is horrible but the Lakers need him to spread the defense with the starter unit since he can shoot threes. He was playing with some potential early in the season though, he was getting lots of steals...I don't know what happened to him.

Would never happen but my favorite lineup is when they put vujacic in SG and Kobe in SF. They should use that in the starting lineup instead of banana boy.

For a veteran fisher was horrible today, he takes horrible shots and couldn't defend AI at all. Hope it was just a off day for him.

Fisher is consistent throughout each season, i'm not really worried about a bad game or two. He was great a couple of nights ago, so..

I understand that Rad is in there for 3's, but he can't hit those either. He's had a pretty terrible FG% in general, not just from beyond the ark.
And don't even get me started on what a terrible defender he is. I'd rather see Sasha in there, even though he's short. Or hell, start with Odom...

lol, amazing. No one complains when they win, or points out flaws, but when they lose.. "<Player A sucks ass.> >.> Not like I'd worry about anything. The Lakers are still the best and deepest team in the NBA.

And they are only as strong as the weakest Radmonovic. Stephen A. Smith(with his annoying ass) needs to devote SportsCenter time to how bad he is. Even Kwa-meh Brahn outplayed his ass.

I was happy to see kwame Brown play well lat night, he had such high potential coming into the league and has played like shit. I think its mostly team philosophy he didnt get when he played for the lakers and now found a good niche with the pistons.

Radmanovic sucks regardless of the score.

Usually when a team loses a game it means something went wrong, nothing wrong with pointing out they were missing open shots.

And Rad has been horrible for awhile now so its not some sort of knee jerk reaction to this game. Love the guy for the banana incident but hes gotta be able to shoot his 3s.

Btw did anyone see the vujacic and hamilton scene? that was hilarious.

Yeah that was pretty funny, but I think odom is much better than radballitch and unsure why he's not starting.

Yeah, Odom got turned into the 6th player for some reason... he still plays his 30-35 minutes, but I don't see why Radmanovic needs to start or play anywhere near 30+ mins.

Yeah Odom is an auto double double, can handle the ball and is a terric passer, should be starting.

Odom is coming off the bench because I honestly think he's better that way. I think right now, there's too much pressure on him as a starter, and he still needs to settle into his game. They can't have a big man "settling" from the starting line-up, so they put him as a 6th/7th man. I like the decision. Work him in slowly.

Well the thing with having a Fisher, Bryant, Odom, Gasol, Bynum lineup is that most of their plays are all inside the paint. I mean occasionally you will have Fisher shooting a 3 but most of the time most of the plays will be inside the paint. Other teams will just focus all of their defense in the interior and not really have to worry about perimeter shooting.

With Rad, he is somewhat of a established 3 point shooter. This forces teams to spread their defense which will allow for in the paint plays that aren't met with suffocating defense.

Odom would have been a 6th man no matter what though, Phil was originally going to put Ariza in the SF spot. Can't blame him, Ariza has been a major reason why the Lakers went on a 7-0 streak.

Sasha is a better 3 point shooter than Rad.

He is but I don't think Phil feels comfortable starting Kobe at the SF position.

The Lakers go big to force other teams to figure out how to matchup against them. It's really not that hard of a concept.

Yeah well they need to go big with someone else rather than swagger jacking Rad.

I don't watch a ton of NBA games, but there's been some atrocious officiating in the GS-Portland game. Golden State up by 2 with ~5 seconds left, trying to inbound the ball, Rudy Fernandez clearly gets his jersey held by a Warrior while trying to get the pass, the foul gets called on Rudy. Rudy gets annoyed and argues with the ref for good reason, gets a T called on him, game over.

Earlier in the 4th quarter, LaMarcus Aldridge gets called for his 6th foul for blocking when his feet are a good 6" outside of the inner arc.

Some pretty shitty officiating. Not that the Blazers played particularly well or deserved to win, but those were two very big, very shitty calls at key times. There were a number of other questionable calls, going both ways, but those were the most atrocious that I saw.

Oden's starting to look like a force inside, though, which is nice.
