Hot for Teacher's wayyy fun on expert, it does get me tired tho, and to the old comment i made w/ TTFAF, the only reason i said it was a challenge (for me at least) is because i kinda just started GH on GH3 and i started on hard and am barely into expert, granted i can pass some expert songs, i totally forgot about TDWDTG, yea that song, is pretty sick in difficulty.

The only "retardedly hard" song is Satch Boogie... and even that isn't really hard, it just has a really stupid section in the middle that will require practice.

A lot of songs are extremely fun to play, so overall I don't really mind that none of them are overcharted to death like TTFAF and Jordan because those aren't fun to me... check out Crazy Train, Mr Crowley, Hot For Teacher, BYOB, Trapped Under Ice, and some other high tier songs and i'm sure you'll enjoy playing them over and over.

We played around with this at work for the Fable and GH launches, and I wasn't too impressed by it, although it's an improvement from GH3. I want to try it out a little more before I decide I don't like it though.

Starting to regret having bought it for the Wii, got two songs from the in-game store, and had to delete some of my Wii console games for space. (Not to mention the game's graphics look like GH2 for my PS2...shouldn't be a huge factor in playing..but still..)Thought of taking it back to Best Buy, but don't know if they'll let me exchange it for the XB360 version. Also can take it to Gamestop to trade in, but probably won't get much credit towards the 360 version. That, and Gamestop only had PS3 versions of the game last time I went. =\

What about the note charts -- are they true to the music or a big clusterfuck of randomness like GH3? Some songs got so annoying while playing something that just didn't make sense musically at all and it was my biggest gripe with GH3. Only reason I ask.

It's a little bit better... the purple string parts CAN be a bit excessive, but overall they did an okay job.

Played a song in the midst of all my schoolwork just to see how it was, and I loooovvveeee the new guitar. Feels so comfortable. First purple slider section that came my way I was all WTF and had no idea what to do and all the notes went by unhit. I found out later you can turn off the slider (which I did because it's way too awkward sliding your hand down there and guessing where the buttons are when I'm so used to fast solos with the actual frets by now).

Fun. =) Can't wait until I get all the songs.

You don't have to strum during the purple string sections, just tap the frets... even if you miss and drop a note, keep tapping... there's no need for strumming, as the frets act like the RB Fenders' solo fretboard during those purple sections.

Ok so help me out. I put the unlock code in but I still can't find some of the songs. Like everlong, crazytrain, and sweet home alabama. They just aren't on the list. Did I do something wrong?!!?

You must've not used the right code? There are a lot of cheats.. The code I got from gamestop gave me all the songs.

Found out the deal. I didn't notice that I actually had to turn it 'on' after i entered the code...unlike all the other GH games.

Got all the songs now, yay!

Pull Me Under should also be unlocked. Unless all the songs are automatically unlocked when you play online matches/coops, then I'm not sure.

Either way, it's not a big deal since career is just as short as it's always been in GH.

Do they really use the whole TMV song? It's like 12 minutes long lol

They're all master tracks, so either there is a single version (though I'm pretty sure The Widow was the only single from the album) which cuts out the insanely long periods of 'noise' or yeah, you get to stand around for 5 minutes listening to them make sounds with a number of random instruments. Just be pleased they didn't pick Miranda That blah blah blah or Cassandra Gemini, any Volta fan would love it, but your arms would fall off after 30 minutes of guitar wankery.

They could have picked a slightly better song though, Tetragrammaton would have given people heart attacks.
