they are immortals, they don't die without thorim lightning

and you really don't need freya considering.. basically nothing cept skulls in yogg brain room can take you below 30% sanity before last phase... although that death coil thing might...

I'm pretty sure most people who do 1 Light do it with Freya.

Without Thorim, Immortal Guardians in Phase 3 won't die, as it's Thorim himself that kills them when they get to 0 HP.

We did it leaving Thorim up, you have to be very careful with sanity. It took us about one solid night of attempts, as we tried for about an hour one day and had DCs, then came back today and did it in about 3 hours of attempts.

Should've had it last week tbh. Nothing more than plain stupidity when it comes down to it.

Yea we lost about 18 US rankings last week to a 1% wipe with 2 melee DPS dead for half the fight. Cosmic smashes are hard.

To echo what everyone else has said:


FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LEAVE THORIM UP. 1 keeper Yogg with Thorim is easier than 3 keeper without for a reason. In 10s we literally 7-manned the entire fight with a single healer after a wave of disconnects. The fight is easy as long as Thorim is around and your DPS don't suck.

For whatever reason I always thought you were in some casual non raiding guild and pugged a lot. I must be wrong, what guild did you join?

I was for a while but then I went back to my old ways. I thought I hated raiding so much and all, but I was wrong, I really missed playing at that level like I did in TBC. I joined Demise on Burning Blade, working on algalon now.

No idea what I'm going to do when faction changes come about.
