Thanks spaj was a uhm....ugh heh. After one of our succesful nights of raiding in reset (in which we actually raided and killed shit) my RL friend that got me into wow in the first place asked me to join his guild. I felt bad about it and stuff...but #1 strike was thunderhorn was pve, and #2 reset just wasn't that fun. I'm enjoying Akama alot, wintergrasps are 100% playable, and my guild is pretty awesome. I think the biggest pain in the ass about switching was getting the "Maximum gold transfer allowed: 20000G) when I had 37500. I went on a shopping spree on the AH heh

No worries. When I invited you to Reset I had no doubt that we would rock Ulduar, and we would have if the guild didn't implode. Unfortunately it all went down basically right when you joined over. I had no idea it was coming, everything kind of happened behind closed doors. The guild WAS a lot of fun, but the fun core of people were all in that group that gquit and ran off, then we got stuck with all sorts of noobs.

Glad you got out while you could! I felt pretty bad that all that happened right when you joined. But shit happens. I might quit, not sure how much time I can invest in raiding anymore.

You know, I saw that trinket as well last night and thought the same thing. I'd definitely like to see some numbers before I give it a shot but it certainly seems like it might be viable.

Not really as great of an achievement as you guys recently, and we've been a shadow of our former selves so it's sort of embarassing to post this but I'm proud to say we finally killed Heroic Steelbreaker (actually, we shat on him.)

Want to know the deciding factor?

Make the Valanyr go elemental. (We don't have the buff from them and I put out really high dps)

We proceeded to finish off farm content and even 1 shot hard thorim which is something new for us. (Skyforged crossbow dropped, with no fucking hunter in the raid LOL)

Sad part?

We got our first Stormbreaker Hard Kill in 25 man the FIRST attempt we made our Valanyr Shaman go Elemental.

Personal get for me, guild already had it done. Best thing is I dont have the normal or medium mode kills for 25 mans. I was made to work like a fucker for my city defender too, resto drood and holy paladin duo's live for an asstardedly long time ¬.¬;;

I got Crusader today :D!

Anyone else have the exp chest+shoulders and notice a significant difference in leveling time? I bought the chest for my 70 (now 72 as of writing this though) lock, she already has the shoulders and I also bought her epic Northrend flying. Quests are 800x easier with an epic flyer at the lower levels. My normal questing route is:

Tundra > Fjord > Dragonblight > Grizzly > ZD > Sholazar > Icecrown

and I'm wondering if I can completely cut out a zone due to these shoulders/chest combo (plus full 2 levels of rest exp). I've been skipping lots of quests that I don't like and it's fun :D

I'm kinda underwhelmed at Crusader though, I thought there would be much RP once I got it, and they just give you dailies and send you on your way.

yeah the exp gain is mind boggling. the only issue i'm having is jumping places too quickly, and ending up with all quests too high of level for me.

With only the shoulders i was able to skip zul'drak on my mage completely. (hate that place, too big takes too long to go around it). I'd imagine you could skip another half of a zone with the body included in that.

If you start Northrend at level 68 you can pretty much skip ZD/Icecrown with both heirlooms.

I started NR either 68 or 70 on my druid without the epic flyer. Using questhelper and Jame's guide which gets the zome completement achievement - Doing BT>HF>DB>GH and adding in ONLY the Hodir quest chain from SP and a couple dailies, I dinged 80 about 5 quests into ZD. Never touched any more of ZD Basin SP or IC. Thats with just shoulders and epic at 77.
