No one said that they'd skip Icecrown at 80, just that you didn't have to do Icecrown to get to 80. :3

Heh, I can't imagine why you'd need any of the experience from IC quests, even if you start Howling at 68 and skip Borean. I think on my first 80 I dinged somewhere around the Sons of Hodir lines in Storm Peaks

When you don't want to waste time on dungeons and have no rest exp. that's when you probably need to(read: want to) venture into IC to ding 80.

I hit 80 when wotlk came out 10~ quests into Basin. Only did Nexus/UK once for quests and had minimal rest the whole time.

It was a lot easier going back to IC with level 80 and some gear and burning through the quests for straight gold.

Holy shit the xp you get from AV is crazy.

at lvl 78 I was getting about 20k xp per tower cap. winning netted almost 30k xp

was able to ding 80 in a day and 1/2 that way lol only played for like..... 8 hours total, I think heh

In other news, my baby druid has now out-DPS'd my Shadow Priest. I'm happy and sad at the same time. Maybe its time to roll Holy as my 2nd spec now.
