lol nice. We gave him a shot just for exposure. We had 23 ppl there (missing 2dps) and we were just learning the mechanics. The fight doesn't actually look too hard, although we never got to p3 so yeah.

Ok, i freely admit it. all my guildmates were saying it, but i didn't believe it. I have stupid luck with mounts. Just reactivated my acct since 3.3 hit, did one random dungeon on my rogue alt, got occulus, 1/1 blue drake.

pity it wasnt on my dk main, would've made 104 mounts for him.

Yeah putricide isn't too bad.. just avoid the goo toss/jars and keeping dps up for enrage/blob control is probably the semi-hard part.

Phase 3 can be kind of intense too... even if you carefully plot the shit alongside the walls around the room with only 2-3 dead... the room was 3/4ths covered by the time he went down (dunno if it was healer/dps though).

One thing thats good about the fight... is hunter is #1-3 dps almost always on that fight XD 7.5-8.5K dps is pretty much highest on that fight usually.

Imagine my suprise when i caught the time-lost proto drake and it didn't count for the northrend achieve. FFFFUUUU.

Your best bet is to fly to the FP outside Gun'drak. go across the pathway, to the left side of gun'drak (left if you're facing outward from gundrak with it to your back). all along the left side up to where the mammoths are a large black spider rare spawns among the raptors. It's almost always up, and even when it's not, it's respawn is pretty fast. I caught it maybe 6 times over 5 days or so.
