yeah occasionally a gear setup will end up to where using hit food will allow a bigger difference than pretty much any other food will through gear swaps
Finally!!
Spoiler: show
Grats, I have yet to find competent enough people to do that one so haven't bothered getting most of the others yet =/
I got less rabi in a random dungeon finder group. Was spiffy. Strangulate ftw. Although it was kinda weird cause my dbm said it was immune to Strangulate, but he got the icon and interrupted his cast.
yeah he's immune to the silence effect but not the interrupt itelf of strangulate. Pretty neat a non-retarded dk can pretty much lock him down solo.
258 wind runner hunter chest t9 thing oh joy...!
going to need it since 2 piece t9 is just.. so op that I can't replace it till 4 piece t10 264... ;/
(dam you blizz make a glyph of sting crit already!)
Finally found another tree so I could retire mine! :D Playing as elemental shammy main now, and got http://www.wowhead.com/?item=49976 yesterday! ^_^
New backpiece, new weapon this weekend. Might upgrade my shoulders tomorrow, once I get enough frost badges, not a huge increase in stats but i'll be getting the 2set bonus.
It's not that it cant be done, you just need luck with the speed of your kill. You need to kill it in 9sec or 14sec, because a 10sec/15sec kills mean you will get a nearly instant transformation near the end.
Using a DK to silence is the safe way to go, since he can just activate his silence before the transformation and prevent it.
just cs the 50% one imo, if your group can't do the like 15k combined dps for 8 seconds it takes to kill him it that time you've got problems
the other ezmode option is just to have a shaman with reverb catch the 50% one and then shock the instant it's up the rest of the way, it will catch them all without having to pay attention or watch for an insanely fast cast
If you kill it in 8sec after the first transformation, it means you had a stun around 20-25%, which is still stunable (fast but doable). My zerg attempt were faster, and the 2nd stun was always under 10%.
Shaman works if they are spec'd correctly, but death knight are generally easier to find.
50% isn't the first transformation, first transformation attempt should start around 80 or 90% depending how hard you're dpsing.
Interrupt that with something other than CS, don't go all out yet, hit the one that will come 5 seconds later with the CS between 50-35%, blow up the rest. ezpz
Should be 5 sec after the engage, which put it close to 50% , no?
Either way, my point is that zerg strategy might fuck you up depending of your speed (even with pretty good dps), while having a "safe stun" strategy works with nearly everything that can kill it within 2 or 3 stuns.
Right, what I'm saying is not all out zerg, I'm saying work it down slowly to the point you can easily kill it inside the CS.
I.E. it's much easier to kill it from x% in 8 seconds than to try to stop one at low %.
I guess, but if you're in pickup, I would rather trust a single DK or shaman with a simple order instead of hoping everyone in the group is smart enough to understand its not a pure DPS race. The chance of getting one smart stunner is higher than the chance of getting 4 smart DPS.
In theory, none of these achievements are incredibly hard, but in practice, I've seen people fuck up where I didn't think it was possible to fuck up.
