25 man Arthas is perfect imo. I'm not a big fan of Soul Reaper since it can come off the back end of a 25k hit and the number of cooldowns you need to be able to make sure no tank dies.

Funny thing tho, even though they said they fixed it, our first target for Frostmourne's soul steal ability was the tank on the raging spirits.

One thing I can say about this fight is to ensure that no matter who you are, you have a movement speed enchant or a talent that increases your run speed or else defiles become an even bigger bitch.

This is true everywhere. Unless you absolutely need the 12 Hit from Icewalker, pretty much everyone should be using Tuskarr's Vitality, especially for raiding as precious few bosses allow a person to stand still for more than ~10 seconds.

Over the few snowed-in days I had off work, I managed a few things.

Got the Love Fool meta-achievement on my warrior.
Chefs Hat on my warrior.
50 on my rogue (go go multilate!)

Should look to get 500 dailies done on the warrior today, along with the Peddlepet achievement. Only leaves the 3 apothacaries to do to have all the Love is in the Air achievements (just in time for the lunar festival to start on sunday).

If you've already bought your T10 shoulders and have your fill of appropriate trinkets/capes, save for 95 for next T10. Don't buy gloves or pants until they're the last piece you need since you can get lucky in VOA and save yourself 60/95 badges.

I have 4-set bonus on Tier 9 right now (232 gear).

From reading a lot of information on Disc Priest stats and effective use of gear, I'm finding out that the healer's T10 isn't good at all for Disc. There are better ways to spend my emblems, including using Shadow T10 for Disc-healing.

I've still got to quantify my stats and where I could stand some improvement, so for now, I'm going to continue to wait it out. I already spent 50 badges to upgrade my cloak, but it was the largest boost in gear, so it made sense at the time.

Ah, yes that would be troublesome. I'm one of those classes fortunate enough to not only have a pretty cool set of T10 set bonuses, but to have crappy T9 ones so that it's a no-brainer to upgrade.

Though I still can't seem to break T8 2pc for dps lol, at least not without absolutely securing enough pieces for the set bonus(es) to swap out all at once (the T10 gear's stats is already vastly improved enough that it's worth breaking T9 for tanking).

I'm one of those (lazy) people that deeps in the gear I heal with. Of course, I raid exclusively as a healer, so my deeps are just for questing. Using Shadow T10 for heal gear has an appeal to me.

FYI This hasn't been mentioned much but once a guild beats Arthas in 25 on your server, not sure if its true for 10 man, but a memorial appears in the middle of Dalaran that lets you view the movie from the final encounter.

If you're not terribly concerned about your DPS offset (2pcT10 for Shadow isn't OMFG amazing, especially if you're only expecting to get 251s in the long run), you should probably take a look at the offset pieces like Meteor Chaser's Raiment. They're 264s and damned nice for either Disc or Shadow.

MPK'd a shitton of horde in Moonglade today. Apparently they forgot to bring a tank when they decided to start killing flagged alliance by Omen's spawn point. So I threw 20 rockets into the cluster. Hilarity ensued.

Ya I went to do Omen with a couple of guildies and before we got around to pop him there was a shitload of Alliance waiting/watching (we are Horde on a PvE server). While we were fighting I couldn't keep the thought out of my mind that some alliance guy would flag himself PvP and stand in my Consecration to flag me PvP and them wailing on me like madmen. Instead we got "lucky" and they started dpsing Omen to kill him quicker (we were with like 4 total ).
