It has to do with the Lunar Festival that started yesterday. You can pop a boss called Omen by shooting fireworks from 2 specific cannons in a location in Moonglade (somewhere along the road on southside of the lake). Omen is pretty weak but has about 5.5m hitpoints.

still using abyssal rune, so sad

Without knowing what your class is, you should probably try running H Pit of Saron daily in an effort to get Nevermelting Ice Crystal. That and Muradin's Spyglass from ICC10 are both very nice upgrades. NIC might only be a Shadow Priest thing, though, I'm not up-to-date on trinket ranking for classes that use direct nukes instead of DoTs.

nevermelting ice crystal is terrible for arcane mage

never seen muradin's spyglass but it's barely a 100dps upgrade over abyssal rune according to rawr.... need 2 more DFO to drop

AFAIK, if you don't target him specifically you won't do damage with Conescration type abilities to players that are pvp flagged if you aren't

Not much of an accomplishment since any tank could do it, but it was fun while it lasted. I killed 3 alliance during the first 15% that came alone, but a duo got me at 85%....I got raped by fear

It's definitively possible if you can 1h alone up there.

You can do Varian, too, and there's much better hiding spots around there.

2pc T10 on my mage today. Won leggings in VOA with an amazing roll of 3. I beat the other mage with a roll of 1, where the ML gave it to his guildie, and I got his guildie to give it to me for winning the roll. Picked up the T10 shoulders with badges, and won the 245 T9 Gloves out of VOA as well. Saw a nice upgrade in DPS.

tried Valithria Dreamwalker but its pretty intense... something (maybe all magic) the damage you take apparently drains mana so... !
