Somehow got "I'm on a boat!" without dying and with me going over 3 times on my priest.

My priest now has plague and blood wings down. My paladin only has plague down...so my alt is more progressed than my main, lol. Although that's not the first time. My warlock is 4/5 in ToGC25 and my paladin is still only 2/5 there. So I have two alts that have been more progressed than my main in certain raids, woo.

Quite a funny story. Joined a pugged 25man TotC for the weekly, rolled 95 on the trinket, started tripping balls... Rogue rolls 100, just as it's being distributed. He goes absolutely sick, calling the raid leader a faggot and other such colourful names, I decide it's not worth giving it to someone as utterly disgraceful as they are, and just keep quiet until he nerdrages enough to leave. Everyone congratulates me on how much more deserving I was, we go on to wipe on the last boss and the pug disbands.

Lost a day of raiding due to not being able to get a raid ID yesterday, quickly ran through ICC25 today got sindrgosa down and ready to start working on the LK again, Horde on our server killed him tonight so onlly faction first is up for grabs.

lost the gun off BQ heroic to a rogue... in 10man and no gun/pants off deathwhisper.. dam you 50% drop rate bow.. lies!

Managed to kill Saurfang on 10m in a PuG with my sub 5k GS Mage being on a respectable 3rd place (5.5k GS ret pala and 5.6k feral druid were way above the rest). Also got the achievements now for both the first 4 bosses and the special achievement from Marrowgar (Boned) and Saurfang (<3 marks). Walked out with a nice new weapon too, Frost Needle (same one I lost to a 71/0/0 arcane mage).

Still working on Shriveled Heart, I think I'm about 0/10ish now. Also decided (against better judgement) to go for the quick win in terms of t10 pieces (shoulders/hands) since I'm trying to look enticing for the better guilds and most look down on a Mage who doesn't even break 5k GS, especially since most of the better guilds on my server only do 25mans.

Makes me sad reading that rithridan. GS and achivements really managed to fuck this game over in some ways. Funny seeing 5.6K GS people running around without a clue while someone at 5K knows everything there is to know about the class and the raidencounters.

Lol, that's on a regular basis. I out DPS'd a 5400 GS arc mage with my protadin. Beat him on total damage by 20% I see plenty of people with full 71 specs or 5.8k GS and cant fucking do a goddamned lick of DPS.

This is why gear scores are the stupidest thing the people of WoW ever came up with.

The only thing I found useful for the gearscore mod is...

1. Checking someone, it'll show how much raid experience they got. For instance how many times they killed a certain boss in normal/heroic)

which I find alot more useful then a gearscore

although the info it gets doesn't seem 100% accurate its close enough to determine how well experienced they may be. Like I have sindragosa neck... but somehow only got no record kills for it?

Elitist Group has exactly this functionality as well.

As does WoW-Heroes.com and, come to that, I think you can look it up in the Armory, too.

I use GS to approximate whether I need to hold back DPS in a Heroic or to guess who should get Vigilance in same Heroic (to be adjusted once we've started rolling). That's all it is good for. Anyone who doesn't Armory deserves what they get.

Well, I don't want to spend 1-5min looking up a person (persons) in a pug 5/10/25man going to a website, making sure I type their name correctly or the people with weird fonts (that prat can't even copy)

I rather findout.. within 2-5 seconds per person

going to try out Elitist Group to see how it does later on
