Ah right, my mistake; I was comparing 264 to 264 instead of 264 to 277 Obviously you will gain more STAM INT and SP since they (usually) gain from iLvl. Had there been a 277 version of Leggings of Woven Death then the tables would probably been turned again.

Now, that evens the playing field. Without any heroic items enabled Leggings of Woven Death win by 40 DPS. I would hardly say this would make Tier legs an item to laugh at a mage for wearing, nor would I say that means you should get Woven Death. Once you get into the 277 range they become obsolete while say, Deathfrost Boots for when you go Fire (25 LK HM or even before) will last you a VERY long time, only being beaten by Plague Scientist + Amulet of Silent Eulogy.

And I have proven here they are a completely viable or even better option for an Arcane Mage. Especially if you raid Heroic ICC.

I'm not going to argue with you about this. Difference of opinion, and I also believe maybe two or three of us here are actually raiding ICC25 Heroic consistently. I'm not one of them.

I would recommend not "loling" at an extremely good piece of gear next time if you don't wish to argue. And its not a difference of opinion if I proved the pieces usefulness and you did not.

I have ran literally every simulation with realistically obtainable gear through Rawr, and T10 legs always come out below T10 hands. ALWAYS.

All you said was, "lol w/heroic gear T10 legs are better."

Yes because last page I did not list out the BIS arcane list which included Sanc Legs (pre heroic tier which makes sanc legs even better). Post your sets or maybe some math and maybe your claims would make any sense.

As a matter of fact, I just ran you through Rawr, using all normal raid buffs on a 300 second fight with no movement. This is your DPS increase simply swapping your T10 legs out to T10 Head. Subtract 50 DPS off of the final total due to the regems.

You are comparing Sanc Head to Corprethar Crown, you do realize that right? Fireball BIS is going to be Sanc Head + Body + Legs + Shoulders with Heroic Gunship Mittens. Guess what? I have Heroic Gunship Mittens, Sanc body, legs, non sanc shoulders, and 8 badges from the head.

Also, I thought crit rating was supposed to be fucking amazing for fireball specs, and the T10 hands have it. Did something change?

And while I may not have ran many arcane sims through rawr, I do know my Fire and I do know that no matter what Sanc Legs have their place in a Fireball mage. I've ran every setup that could be possible through rawr with every different type of 4 piece and the best has always been Head+Shoulders+Body+Legs.

Theirs always... common sense in gearing yourself to achieve good dps! I don't really touch any theorycrafting stuff myself ;/
