What does spirit convert to for a mage?

Spirit is almost worthless as a shadow priest, 20% of spirit to SP, I'd much rather keep the 800 EP or whatever staves are worth to obtain other gear.

EDIT: I guess the extra INT would be nice too, but not really a big deal. Unless, do mages get an INT conversion? Spriests don't benefit from INT aside from a tiny bit of crit.

I'm not denying that your staff beats the Wrathful staff, I'm just saying it's nice to not destroy your EPGP ratio. Weapons cost such a retarded amount compared to everything else.

Spirit is worth around 60% of SP, Haste, and Crit. Yeah there's a reason I got it, when there was a high EP Spriest and like six warlocks in the raid, seems Spirit is only a Fireball stat these days.

I dunno about guides but people like Kamil put some very interesting tips and tricks in their videos between all the silly stuff. Like Taunting to keep a priest out of OOC Mana Regen and stacking Crit instead of Strength for the Crit Heal HoT (Sheath?) I think his newest movie even has like 5 panels of "For beginner PvP paladins".

An 80 mage tried to gank me on my 70 DK today and I got him down to less than 2K health before he killed me. Then an 80 warlock ganked me and I got him to less than 2K when I resurrected since his death coil was on CD(then he one shot me through anti magic shell >.>). It's amazing how much damage I can do in a mind freeze > strangulate combo.

My heart strikes are critting for 2.5K, death strike crits are 2.5K, death coil crits are 1.5K, and melee crits are 1.5K. I've got about 33% crit depending on the ability. It's not even worth setting up diseases because the mobs don't last long enough. I just run in HS HS DS DS DC dead mob, death runes are up for the next mob HEART STRIKE HEART STRIKE HEART STRIKE HEART STRIKE HEART STRIKE HEART STRIKE

I'M SO EXCITED I CAN'T WAIT TO HIT 80 AND GEAR THIS GUY OUT

This toon is strictly going to be for rolling noobs in battlegrounds.

I mean really, I can run up to something, smack it for 2.5K, get a 1.5K melee swing, and a 1.5K death coil proc. 5-6K instant burst with one button in green gear in the 70s???

Buddy of mine said he was hitting 12K heart strikes in battlegrounds with Relentless gear a couple days ago and I think I got hit for a 8K death strike through 1K resil last season. I'll have this guy 80 in a couple days with a full pvp set within 2 weeks, it's game time

DK is awful, i have DK, ret, and warrior all geared well(warrior is exceptional), i'd always rather be on ret in BGs(with a caveat for having a pocket healer with me.. warrior is king then), its so much better than DK i cant even begin to say.

Arena is a different story, but the OPness that DK has in BC levels does NOT last.

5) top all damage in the BG by 500k

I can't stand playing my friend's ret, it's waaay too easy to get kited and CC'd, and not being able to interrupt is huge. I love the control that death knights offer, I carried my DK friend to 1800 last season while he was still using the garbage Titansteel Destroyer because 99% of what he did was spam chains of ice while I mana burned. I would have killed a 78 ret today just by chains kiting him but he used a mana pot when I ran him OOM...

You have to use judgement of justice* as ret, its the most mobile melee dps by far.

I had an epic battle on my prot pally with a tanking blood DK... fight lasted for about 5 minutes... I eventually won.

While I hit like a kitten, prot pally is fun for pvp... can live forever, and with avenger's shield and hammer of justice, feasible ways to interrupt spellcasting.

I love running around in battlegrounds with the 2p t10 as unholy getting 8-10k physical SS dmg on the terrible people that battlegrounds consists of.
But I miss the old 2h frost with the old unbreakable armor 2-3k reduced damage on all attacks. Was full of lawlz taking on 2 rogues without losing any health.
