4pc heroic t7, and 400 more SD, and 200+ more haste. I'm happy I did 2200 with no raid gear and group that wasn't min/maxed. Sorry if I disappoint you. 23k FFB crit, fuck, I just recently broke 10k.

I dont see how the DPS gap is so large really. people saying I should be doing 4.3k DPS in blues is kinda insane. Sorry if I feel that there's something amiss.

But the TOP... TOP DPS, doing 2200, is weak, in a 25man. Thats one hell of a bad pug lol.

The Naxx raid I was in had like 3500ish as its top. I frankly also saw 6000 DPS as something sort of far-fetched. I was like 3rd-4th most of the time with 3kish DPS.

I see a lot of greens on healers, tanks and dps in 10-man pugs. That probably explains the 'oh shit we actually need to use strategy past Patchwerk quick get another healer' problems. Can't overcome a problem of math by simply throwing more bodies at a boss.

Didn't see this til now, but I don't understand how anyone at 80 could possibly be using a green over a blue considering how easy it is to get them (quest chains, most of which are solo; faction rewards at honored/revered; dungeon drops).

People who rushed to 80 didn't get there doing quests. Hence, greens. Yeah it's easy to get them in level 80 dungeons but again, they rushed to 80 and suddenly think they're ready for Naxx. You should see some of the hideous pugs on Kilrogg going into Naxx and taking two hours to get through the Spider Wing.

What scares me is when I see tanks in heroics with less than 20k HP and under crit cap, and then they continually get stomped on certain bosses because they just don't have the endurance for them yet.

That's pretty much how it is for anyone who wasn't a raiding tank in BC. Blizzard was nice enough to make almost no quest rewards tanking items.

Friend was 2nd and did pretty much every quest in every zone, and now is working on his alt that's level 70.

Number 1 & 2's on our server both quested. First druid on our server also quested. I'd say about 1/3 of the server first 80's were questing. And that seemed to be the trend on most servers.

Only the crazy crazy people grinded out 70-80 or the people who found spots like in Grizzly Hills like the first 80 overall did.

Top 3-4 on our server quested. Still embarrassing losing to a prot warrior who solo'd the whole way! The next few people were all from my guild and another guild. The other guild started off instance grinding but were falling behind so they swapped to questing too. I really think unless you have your grind spot planned out (like Athene and that world first person), questing is always faster.

Today I was finishing off my dailies while talking with a friend over vent. I asked him if he does the Brunnhilder dailies for the polar bear mount and he says no, so I tell him to head over because I can share one of the quests and have all the items ready (the freezing egg one). He turns it in and gets the polar bear. I get cheese and snowballs

I did get exalted Frenzyheart though. 1-2 more days and I'll finish off my last (intended) rep, putting my total at 46.

Respecced and magically conjured up an extra 300 DPS on my Death Knight, got two levels in a day and leeched the Northerend Ring of Blood quest which gave me even more DPS! I'm feeling OP, and I'm happy about that.
