Finally killed HM Putricide and am now on the long road that is LK HM progression

TBH, normal mode is already moral crushing :'( at least for the guild I'm in. I've yet see us get to 3rd phase. I find the most critical part to be the 2nd Valkyr wave since I've seen it choose to do defile before Valkyr and vice versa. Especially when a melee dps gets defile while they are on Valkyr are the times we create the biggest black pizzas. That 2 second warning is seemingly too short for the tunnelvision people.

Bought 2 primordial saronite, 12 titansteel bars and 11 epic gems for 3k last night. Not a huge accomplishment but it's the only breeze I've had come my way recently

2 DMC:Greatness cards for 650 each a few days ago! good bargains don't pop up much on the AH or are snapped up by bots super fast in this game, was a decent find i guess.

After a whole night of LK HM progression, LK normal was (or at least seemed!) incredibly easy.

Also shadow traps are funny as hell.

The only time we got to 3rd phase is when 2 dps died on the first 2 valkyr. You can tell what hurt the ground when losing people make you better!

My alliance paladin is at 4.3k gs. I was lucky enough to get into H HoR as my daily. Sweetness, right? No one else starts the event so I get to start it, letting everyone know I've never been to HoR before. First wave I'm tanking shit in the middle like I always do, druid healer drops group, awesome. We queue up during the fight, I stagger my cooldowns, get a resto shaman right at the end and live. I look at his gear later on...he's at 4.3k gs. So we're both just barely geared to be in the place, lol.

0 wipes, 1 death (warlock) and no problems. I was still the highest damage in the group so dps didn't carry us or anything either. I'm pretty happy with the end result.

Got deathbringer's will with a 99 roll YUS. Had a DK qq about it since I was mut spec of the time but then I switched to my combat spec (which is just as geared, but I only used it for 10man) to shut him up. Decided to forego my mut spec now and have regemmed to armor pen to take advantage.

That trinket... so much drama over it in my last guild, a officer wanted it for no dkp cost, as he was "the most deserving" and in the end it went to a friend of mine´s DK that is now a alt... just 1 week later.

Second time it droped it went to someone with 50% attendance over the last 4 weeks as oposed to someone with 100% and surprise surprise they have yet to show up since so i hear.

Glad i went horde now...

Normal mode DBW dropped like 99% the time (we even started giving it to healers just for fun, priest gets str/haste/crit btw!) on heroic is once per 3-4 kills ;/

We couldn't even do putricide (or attempted) because the usual guy that does the abom wasn't on so... when asked if anyone else knew how to they were like.. I dunno" /facepalm

The abom is funny, it's not exactly hard to do but I've had several people ask me "omg how do I do this!?" and I have a really hard time explaining it.
