Recent Accomplishment Thread

That's all good and well, but I'm falling behind my guildmates, and I'm in a pretty competitive guild where we all love to rib on one another over the meters and whatnot. The fact that my gear has remained stagnant for some 3-4 weeks is starting to get to me, especially when others are starting to stretch into more and more heroic items.

I've always taken my fun from a combination of the lore of a game and the act of gaining strength in a game. Its why I really only focused on maxing out Drg in FFXI and its why I rarely focus on my alts now that I'm in a serious raiding guild. If I'm not getting better in some way constantly (be it through a new rotation, an upgrade in my spec, through knowledge of unfamiliar fights or through gear itself) I'm not happy.

One day soon you'll probably get 2-3 heroic items in a run or something and feel renewed again!

Its more frustrating when you strictly run heroic 10man and more and more people on the server push into heroic 25, definite feeling of falling behind, despite clearing most of H10 weeks before they cleared 25LK normal ;/

Not yet, I have 8 and i'm working on my 9th. I'm saving Warrior for Cataclysm though because it's boring as hell at the moment. (at least at low levels)

I have 9 now I think? I doubt I'll make it a full 20 by Cata, actually, I know I won't. Cause I can't get into hunter/rogue enough to level a single one to 80, not a chance I get my level 0/1 alliance ones to 80, hah.

Yeah I only got 8 though, mainly to each have a different profession (and then the various branches of each profession like cloth specialization, flask, potion etc). Kinda sucks their all on another server while my hunter is alone... I should probably level another mass so I have all professions for wotlk hmmm...

although I plan to be playing ffxiv by then so I dunno ;/

I have 4 or 5 now, and everything else is pretty low. I have a dk at 70, but it's ally so I wont faction change it - plus I have a warrior so no need for another plate dps/tank class. Lock is at 30, and since all of my characters are physical I'll probably get that to 80 and not leveling anything else. Lock seems to be able to move the most in fights and holy shit do I jump around alot.

One can only hope. We're finishing up our 10man heroic tonight, so maybe sindy will treat me well or something.

Well I only play blood elves cause a friend told me all BE characters are terrible and I love destroying him on DPS meters on every character I make, so I can only have 8 80s when cata hits (warrior paladin warlock rogue hunter mage priest death knight) but still, 5/8 when I work more than full time and I don't play often enough to merit a guild that can kill LK isn't too bad, right? (I can't help but feel I missed a class, idk)

and yeah I destroy equally (or near equally) geared orc/troll hunters with my BE hunters. Bring the player not the class...! (only applies to raw dps, not actual raid fights unfortunately) >.>

Once you do it like 2 times, you can pretty much figure the "best path" lvling (or I did anyway) most all (cept my priest) got Lv 80 by time I did borean+howling+dragonblight which took about 2 weeks irl or less per character. I'd imagine it would be faster now because of the random dungeon LFG insta teleport to instance instance of riding slowly and waiting for people for 5-15min+ and the boa gear.

When BEcan play the extra few classes (and I'm mking a worgen) I'll probably have another 8-9 characters Lv85 (depending on ffxiv alpha/beta anyway!)

Gulk, its no wonder you destroy - you always manage to get into these crazy good guilds that always get pimped out early.

I'm making it my life goal to surpass you in FFXIV. I should have joined AS back in the day once I was ahead of Circhy to bust you up in the parses.

I did apply back in the day when BG was on... whats that server (azshara?) with TG (Those guys) but I think berticus? didn't want to invite me and didn't like "clickers" ;/

I've always been and have been pretty hardcore on online gaming (well over 15 years now) and i think I do pretty well at it

I wouldn't *not* invite someone just because they click or keyboard turn, but those are #1 and 2 on my list of "this is why you're bad", so if I had trials that weren't performing and they were doing that I'd definitely point to that as the top of the "you need to fix this now or you're out" list

I'm working on my 4th 80 now (pld) and finally got the "It's over 9000" feat of strength on my main, as well as have loremaster done. Dear god I feel like I have no life.

I still had probably half of Silithus by the time I made it through all the other zones, it's not THAT bad. Get EveryQuest, makes it much easier.
