This is quite funny, a month ago the lot of us original WoWBG members that were left running the guild quit, and some started/are playing FFXI right after they quit too. lol.

I'm not playing, though. I think I enjoy staying away from computer games besides an occasional LoL match.

So Failaras, turns out spirit is a lot better for spriests than I originally thought.

I got H Dying Light So that makes one 277 weapon, three 264 tier tokens, two 277 rings, two 277 neckpieces, and a 264 trinket in the 3 weeks I've raided with BBB.

Also got Kingslayer tonight, even though I'll never wear such a shitty title.

And I'm pretty sure I'll be getting the next Phylactery from Sindragosa even though my EPGP is completely shot, I don't think there's anyone else who can use it that doesn't have it already. And I'm guaranteed the first H Bauble from BQ.

Having a pretty fun time, even though a lot of the guild members seem to have Down Syndrome and attendance has been so poor we've been bringing in socials. We had a ret paladin in today that was pulling less than 4K with the 20% buff. (Sad thing is, he wasn't fucking up fight mechanics, so he was a lot more valuable than some of our other members LOL)

yeah. all who left were the backbone holding the guild up, so we let it die and those who were still into the game created a new guild to respect our guild name, etc.

lol the staff that I was saving all my priority for before I left. Grats on all the stuff though, if I remember your gear right those are some huge upgrades. Glad you are having fun with them I just couldn't stand the attitudes anymore.

Yeah, I was using haste/mp5 rings with stam enchants and hit gems for PVP, and my mp5 PVP weapon had an mp5 gem in it and my haste offhand had awesome resilience. So not only did I upgrade iLevel and itemization, I also got to use proper gems and enchants. Once I get Muradin's fully stacked and my shadow glyph + Imp. Spirit Tap rolling, I've got 3800+ SP with 100% uptime self-buffed, it's so retarded. I reset recount before we got resurrected at the end of LK cause I wanted to see how I'd do compared to everyone else in a straight DPS race, and I believe I ended up 6th on DPS, pretty sad considering my gear still has a long way to go.

i don't know how some rets do such low dps, i auto attack for more than 4k plus ret is like the easiest class to play in pve

From what I understand its the best caster weapon in ICC (as long as said caster can make use of spirit). I know its the best weapon for Mages if you don't include Heroic Archus. I actually did a comparison for a friend between HDL (No one wanted it but me and the other mage) and H Frozen Bonespike and H Shadow Silk, the comparison came out really close. The MH+OH combo gives more Spell Power, but the Dying Light gave more of about every other stat. The comparison I did it for was a Disc Priest though and since Spirit is worthless for them and they want Spell Power for shields, she came to the conclusion to keep HFBS.
I just find it odd that almost no one wants the staff when in my eyes it is the best. When the only HDL dropped that I saw, only me and the other mage wanted it. When a HFBS would drop like 15 people would bid for it, same with H Shadow Silk.

So Dying Light gives +23 INT, +65 SPIRIT, +73 HASTE, -64 SP, -118 CRIT.
When you convert the Spirit for a mage using Molten Armor, it comes down to like -83 Crit.
So 23 INT, 73 Haste vs 64 SP, 118 Crit
Alot of it depends on how much your class values Haste or Crit, some classes don't want Crit at all, some value Haste over SP, some are Fire Mages and love both.

i have no claims that i don't love my HDL, i'm just saying you should be hoarding your points for better thing(s)(HDFO). really, depending on your guild, they should be going for minimal DKP. for instance, 3 months ago HDLs in my guild were going for minimal DKP, as well as sanc tokens.

i guess my statement is extremely moot. ever since i started over in wow 5 months ago people were just started to down icc normal, 1 month after i started back up in full naxx gear i was already riding the icc normal train and got my realm first LK kill in 4/5 triumph. since then been in upper tier guilds(not the best, but good).
