Here i sit atm, only started playing this game in Jan 2010, hit 80 the end of Jan, as of now i think im doing pretty well.

cant replace my damn Abyssal Rune yet, DFO or TOC25 trinket wont put out for me, and i cant seem to get any weapons or offhands lol.

Anyone who has suggestions on my gear to help me out, please post them.

Some very nice gear, you are way past the point where Fire becomes better so I would recommend switching to that asap. Then you can buy voldes cloak which is pretty awesome (only beat by Frostbinders, TOGC cloak, or heroic saurfang). Also why are you running a Nightmare Tear? I believe even for Arcane using Purified is better. Other than that you seem to be doing good, nice to see a mage that doesn't socket wrongly and not talent TTW.

Its generally known that Fire is the better spec when you reach mainly ilvl 264 gear.
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#of0fck...RhIhVubhct:VLi is the main spec, if you have good tanks you can take points out of Burning Soul if you want. Be warned fire produces ALOT of threat.
Rotation is more of a priority list, keeping LB up is your main priority, after that using Hot Streak procs, and after that just spamming Fireball. Without a Demo or Afflic lock you should also keep Scorch up also.
Fire also allows for more mobility and gear choices such as the cape I was talking about and other Spirit items that no one wants.

A lot of ways people deal with the higher hit cap are things like Sanctified legs from VoA, Amulet of Silent Eulogy, or maybe Rigomortos/Frost Needle. Its easy to find hit, just takes a bit of raiding.

grats on the kill, that 5% really helps, we've gotten to the spirit bomb whatever room and wiping there so far because people died before that to valks phase. Hoping to down it this month!

The guild I'm in killed H LK the other day finally. That polearm and the 2h dps sword dropped. Pretty sexy.

Guild that went casual last week got together to do one final run for our 25man drakes. We ended up getting it because one of our dk's chains of iced a vile spirit that was about to hit someone on the last vile spirit spawns on the last attempt of the night. It was pretty epic.

yeah the horde on there is pretty bad.. i think thats an accomplishment itself.. especially wintergrasp .. to be kileld and farmed all the way back to the "aoe invulnerability buffing" npc haha
