PP and Dreamwalker down in week 2 of my group coming back to the game. 8/12 and hoping to pick back up on Monday to go 11/12. We're sure we don't have the gear to do LK since 3 or 4 people are still in Ulduar gear.

I know many people here have already beaten LK25. After a few weeks progression we finally downed LK. Feel pretty good. Gogo, ICC25 HM now.

Wish my guild would get busy again, yesterday we managed to get a grand total 16 people (for a farm day too). One of our DKs needed 1 more shard for Shadowmourne so we just started with 16 people which was a bit low for Deathwhisper where we hit her enrage with roughly 40% to go (we probably couldve killed her if we improved on our game and pulled waves to her for cleaves). We ended with 20 people by getting a few socials and a late raider but its still fucking annoying.

Ya we killed Deathwhisper with those extras and got the shard for him. Did lolship after and called it a night.

LOL @ people who go to GDKP runs without gold, thinking they're just there to get a huge payout at the end. Got Heroic Ring of Rapid Ascent and two Sanct. marks for my holy pally for like a combined total of 6k gold because everyone else was too broke.

I should have outbid the rogue for DBW too; only went for like 2k, but I'm still trying to save in the futile hope that one day a shield will, somewhere, eventually drop for me. My Zom's Crackling Bulwark is clashing nicely with everything else I have.

That's one shitty GDKP run. The ones we used to do had 4500g minimum on tokens and it was common place for items to go for 5-15k, especially when doing more than just Heroic Lootship. Very commin for the entire raid to make out with ~8k by the end and thats with RL taking 2 shares... although this was maybe around 10% buffs so people needed more things.

The only one that runs on Arthas forces you to at least have 5k when coming in and theres minimum bids on everything that start at around 3-4k. Wish it didn't force you to have gold though so I could jump in there and build up a stockpile to eventually take DFO but I can understand why they have that rule.

Yesterday I finally got DFO after being lucky enough to get home in time for the raid. Whee :D

Also somewhat an accomplishment. Did VoA25 on my DK dps and saw DK dps T10.5 hands drop. Rolled a 70+ on it and felt good for a win to see another DK roll a 90+ on it. Thing was that specific DK hadn't even entered the instance. When we filled up the raid and called everyone to get to the instance he didn't even exit his BG. Ofcourse I point this out and many others with me were saying he didn't even deserve getting it since he never was at the fight in the first place. The RL agreed and gave me the T10.5 hands and obviously the DK flipped out blaming us of starting too fast and /ragequitted.

The day after when I finally got into a ICC10 on my DK I managed to get over 9k DPS on Saurfang which was a personal record on my DK. I topped the charts on that (and most other) fights in that group too. The group composition was really nice though, 3 DKs(blood/frost/unholy), 1 Shaman(enhance), 2 Priest(shadow/holy), 1 Warlock(forgot, destro I think), 2 Druids(feral tank/resto) and a Warrior(fury). Managed to get a nice 2hander for my unholy spec too (2h axe from Saurfang).

As far as I know, he wouldn't have been able to receive the piece anyway, can't get gear from a fight even through ML unless you've been in combat in that raid instance while the boss was being fought, I'm not sure if it requires being in combat or touching the boss, but I know if he wasn't in the instance at all he would've been SOL either way

Guild 10 man has gotten to the point where we can clear 11/12 HM ICC in about 3 hours now...yay casual raiding.

FINALLY got a shield for my holy pally!! <333 The Pavise off Sindy10. I've been using Zom's Crackling Bulwark for over two and a half months, since I first hit 80. Ran ICC10/25, ToC10/25 and Ulduar10 every week (twice, the week I realm transferred and my lockouts reset), and no shield has ever even dropped for me before. :D

The resto shammy I outrolled for it, wearing the ToC25 shield, got snippy and said it was worthless to me so I should give it to him. Then he ragequit the group. After he logged, his guildies told me to not mind him, I was a better healer than him anyway!

couldn't get the shield off of toc? lol, everyone and their mother had the regular version of that one. or the crappy marrowgar shield.

also random fact: i went to middle/high school and graduated with one of the people in your sig.

Not one shield has dropped for me. It's been the most frustrating experience ever.

Also, I have an unnatural love for Jay Baruchel. I can't explain it. He's just super duper awesome. D:
