Switched from Unholy to Frost DPS but RL friend dragged me into a random dungeon as I did it. With a naked action bar and after 17 portals of doing less than 1k DPS in the Violet Hold, I pulled off 4.9k DPS on the 18th portal (boss) with minimal effort with random rotation.

I feel a bit bigger after this haha, since when I was unholy I struggled to maintain even 4k (4.5k GS) DPS. But I usually benefit from the longer fights rather than short ones.

Oh yeah, frost is crazy spike damage.

Frost is variable, it CAN be crazy spike or it can fall inexplicably behind due to its proc-based nature. That said any proc system will inevitably do better in 5 man settings where stuff just doesn't live all that long anyway, where unholy barely has time to get its full rotation up and make any good use out of the Reaping effects or your RP dumps.

Frost DK is good raiding spec if you wanna see high numbers in 5 man instance Blood spec still does the most only because the mobs die to quick for your procs to go off.

9/12 icc with good experience on PP, made it to phase 3 of RS PUG with some pretty decent upgrades.

so our rogue had to go cause his mom in the hospital right after heroic fester. So we 9man'd the rest of 10man on normal... PP sindra and said fuck it we'll give LK a shot since the new rdruid doesn't have achieve and neither does new mage.

rdruid dies about 20seconds into the fight, and we still 8man and 1shot it on first pull. We were 3 healing anyway so no big deal, but it was kinda funny when each healer ended up in the spirit realm and we had to 1heal for a while.

Thank you 30% buff. What would we do without you.

Kinda makes me wonder why we haven't tried PP/sindy/LK hardmodes, typically it's due to time constraints but holy shit is the buff retarded at this point.

Normal modes are pretty silly at this point with the 30% buff but the heroic PP and Sindy fights are teh suck. We're 9/12 on heroic 10 man but the PP and Sindy fights are just nasty. So much raid damage in the 3rd phase of the Sindy fight that we end up losing it around 10ish%. There's always next week!

Picked up BiS belt and pants, allowing me to swap out lots of smaller hit pieces. Also topped damage done on H25 Sarufang. :D

The real accomplishment is Anarine getting Shadowmourne last night; grats!
