Thanks guys, I'll try to make my own little VoA/ToC 10 groups, just gotta look up the strategy to make sure it goes smoothly, or somehow pick up some more casual people who won't mind learning with me/wiping much, instead of the regular "OMG R U KIDDING ME WTF" person (I died to some mid boss in Violet Hold as I didn't know I had to kite one of the bosses and he went berserk). At least it's easy to get to, walk in and head straight to boss, so it should be ok ... !

I decided to keep my Battered Hilt as I truely believe it's a rare/unique item, even just for the quest -- I think I can farm up 5000g (assuming selling price, probably 8000g but I don't wanna wait if I was to sell it) by bulldozing level 60/70 instances easy, if I don't keep queueing for randoms for triumphs (which takes me back out).

Once I get my 2 Rimefang Claw's (sword) for testing Dual Wield tank I may just stop spamming random heroics and just mass farm for some high level feet, waist and wrist items, and ring (to bump GS up and to improve generally).

For dual wield tank, you'll probably want to pick up two slow melee dps weapons for threat purposes for actual raids, tank weapons do fine in heroics but I've never seen a DK tank in raids hold threat when using tank weapons (I might just be getting horrible tanks though)

Yeh I was studying pwnwear (a DK specific tank forum) and read the same thing.

I just think 2 of those Rimefang Claws will look badass.... ! I'm sick on my Tyrannical Beheader -- only plan to dual wield for randoms, and will adjust otherwise.

Eanae: I've not done the quests down in the south-east zone of Icecrown yet (I think that's what they're called) quest chains yet as I'm working on Storm Peaks - but yeh Gold flows in pretty quick from them.

Jintu: Congrats!!! I really want that mount for my DK, it's soooo DK only, the way it looks. I was disheartened to learn that it comes from beating ICC10.

This is a perfect example of Bronzebeard players. My gs on my new alt, pally, isn't as low as yours. Hell technically it's at ICC10/25 gear level for a few weeks now. But still because my GS isn't 5500+ I can't get raid pug ICC25's at all, and my guild hasn't been running anything at all lately. :/

I was doing almost 10k on 25man Saurfang last 25man, 2 set ftw.

Bleh, stuck on needing all you can eat for my 25man drake. Would have gotten it if the damn raid leader didn't insist on trying to do it on heroic and then giving up when I had to leave to pick my fiance up from work and doing it on normal. /rage

Should just grind out the Violet Proto. All in all it's very little work spread very far apart, you just can't be lazy for the short events like children's week/valentine's.

I'm like 2 achievements from both 10/25 uld drakes on my rogue but my friends I raid icc with probably can't handle it and I'm quite lazy. Plus I don't really play the rogue at all anymore, hate it. One is medium rare and I think theres an auriaya one and a easy yogg one.

It's funny cause I have a lot of uld 25 server firsts and top 100's on the char too, yet am like 1-2 things short of the drake.

Got my Shadow's Edge! Managed to drop so much expertise getting rid of that Oxheart, sadly I am still at 29 without the Glyph of SoV so still have tons of expertise to get rid of.

Got me a Trinket, belt and fury offspec boots :D - Made sure I took the Wife on her healadin and a mate to dps, so not to get too much reatardedness.

Unfortunately, the 1st one we got into Hc:HoS, the huntard didn't like the fact I was pulling too "slowly" and he didn't want an "hours instance". told him I was all new to this, but he was still whinging, as we all left. LoL at him saying he'd been waiting for a group for 30mins as well, but I guess with 3 of us should have really voted to kick first.
