Sindragosa/Lich King, I'm looking at you! Almost there... kinda stoked. To me this is an accomplishment, considering every raid I've done has been with pugs.

To most people higher gearscore = better. And I'd assume that for Cataclysm it'll be better at least because they're taking away Armor Pen, so it should be replaced by some useful stat at least.

I'll admit, I don't play Ret often, its just something I have around for questing since the other Protadin is a much better geared Ret so he usually goes Ret and I go Prot. I've heard claims like Mirror and DBW where on par, which I don't really beleive. Rawr lists:
Tiny Abom H> Tiny Abom> Deaths Choice H > WFS H > Deaths Choice > WFS > DBW H > HKT > DBW > Greatness as the trinket heirarchy for me.

Obviously Tiny Abom is hard to get, Deaths Choice is hard to get, WFS can be a pain but isn't as hard as the first two, HKT is badges, and Greatness is pretty cheap and buyable. As awesome as Taunkaing is, just don't know if I would feel right taking a DBW from a class its BIS for, kind of like how I would be super pissed if like a Rogue took Tiny Abom.

Don't take a BiS trinket from someone for your minor upgrade thats lik 8th BiS...

War Token beats DBW for pallys as well, so that's why you never see pallys with DBW, cause it's not as good as for DK/Warriors/Hunters/Combat Rogues. It's barely even an upgrade for pally at all, they shouldn't let pallys roll at all for it.

Back when i played i had DBW taken by a ret paladin off spec (he joined as prot but was dps for that fight), my 99 roll on warrior to his 100.

i have 3 classes that can use DBW, i lose roll on it everytime it drops on any of these classes and yet i constantly see ret palas and enhance shamans rolling on it, i think its the wankfest factor of transforming that gets most of these retards rolling on it.

Taunkaing is awesome.
You know, if Paladins could proc both the STR and AGI versions, that would be a really fun tanking trinket.

And something on topic, managed to get Starcaller tonight. Obviously doesn't mean much now but its a very cool fight and its harder to convince people to go do Algalon than it is to do any fight in ICC!

I was trying to convince my guild to do it, but then I realized I have to leech them through Ulduar hardmodes. No fucking thank you.

ulduar fights are so much more fun than toc/icc. and the hard modes can still wipe a group of 6000 gs folks if they don't know what's up, which is wonderful.

Agreed, i've found Icecrown a little lackluster in comparison. Firefighter/Algalon remain my favourite encounters.

I did, but I wanted my guild to experience the fight. If I schedule anything besides ICC10 Hardmodes, no one will show up. If we did Algalon, I'd need to get the key for myself also, which requires these retards to learn Ulduar Hardmodes (I'm dreading Firefighter with a few of them.)
