Honestly I'm not so sure how hard Ulduar HMs would be now, I mean we didn't even have to really do any of the gimmicks of the encounter for Algalon (we had the hunters running around shooting things but they died pretty early anyways). We didn't really collapse any blackholes or anything either. The encounter is pretty healing intensive though.

Algalon is probably the only encounter I thought "man doing this with 226 gear must suck" due to all the damage I was taking as a tank. didn't seem like I'd be able to survive in 226 gear, but idk it might not be as bad as I think =p

Finished up the Quest Chains with the Wife - Got Her Rogue the Dungeon set 2.

Shadowcraft to Darkmantle, all 8 pieces ..... That's a damn long quest line, props to anyone who managed to get it done at 60. Some of it is a bitch and a half.

you would survive, you would just need someone to heal bomb you constantly with the tank swaps. it was a pretty rough fight but it was definitely the most fun encounter in wotlk

We had a few tank gibs on 25m when the content was still relevant. For the 10m "Do it in 226 gear" we actually did just fine as long as our paladin didn't decide to stop healing the tank to raid heal.

Epic gems were introduced with ToC10/25, so if you're kitting out for Herald of the Titans you have that much additional padding.

I actually got Bane of the Fallen King about an hour before I did ZG. Felt lucky so I went and did it. Don't worry it will drop soon for you!

Getting used to my new Unholy Spec...did 1268 dps (lv74) in Azjol-Nerub last night - Next closest was just over 1k dps. Should make the transition to unholy dps in cata much easier than learning it fresh when it comes out.

Now if I could just find a dps chest and hands, those numbers would probably go up quite a bit more.

For the whole dungeon. 1.3k on Anub-Arak or w/e the boss is named. I actually did 37% of the entire damage load in the dungeon. Party was me (unholy dk), paladin, lock, priest, boomkin.

unholy is very fun, I really miss it, and I liked having a ghoul around.

Diamicles: you could do a /glare at your ghoul and make it cower, or if you do a /cower emote to it, it will roar at you... just some fun if you're waiting for combat to start or something =p
