When did they make Anzu perma up? Do you still need a druid? I'd like to get him on some of my (non druid) alts. If drop rate is anything like it used to be, I'm looking at minimum 3 months of trying every day(I have horrible luck with mounts for no lack of trying: 1/80 on Anzu, 11 months for my green proto, 2 years of farming ZG with no mount drops, at least 150 Scholo runs before giving up, and Nightmare never puts out either, ect...)

Looks like this most recent patch made anzu perma-up. I just soloed him today on my DK. No drop of course. Needed a druid before patch. No longer need a druid post-patch.

Sindra HM 10 man GET! I can't express how exciting this actually is, we killed Putri like... late June I think and we haven't been able to progress because we lost some really good DPS and had to start pugging people and shit. We had to pug 2 this time but both the players where awesome, one even joined the guild after we killed Sindra. We wiped like four times below 10% tonight and it was our final try too. Drakes next week!

Finished up the Classic Dungeons in Eastern Kingdoms except for Blackwing Lair and AQ Temple which I doubt I could solo on my Mage, explored all of the EK zones, and picked up the Leeroy achievement while in UBRS.

Almost ate it on my Mage too. "50" Whelps turned into "The whole goddamn room" when I summoned my Water Elemental, forgot it was on passive, and it took the long way to get to me. Lagged out and burned them down with about 20% Hp left. But still, that's done.

Now I need to do the Dungeons/Exploration in Kalimdor and then go back and hit up ZG for the Turtle Polymorph some time.

Edit: Missed out on BRD. Holy Hell that place looks goddamn huge.
Constantly surprised at how massive some of the older instances actually are.

AQ ruin was an easy solo on prot paladin before 4.0, but i have no idea on mageé I wouldnt be surprised if the water elemental can tank it, since nothing hit very hard (need to skip certain boss though). AQ temple is easy, since people often farm it for rep, and most group roll through it in 20minutes. BWL is the worst (instance is long, its hard to get a group, most leader steal the ore since they worth a lot of money).

BRD is a great instance if you love exploring old content. I soloed it the first time a few level above the recommended level, and it was a blast. Unlike new instance that only have one possible path, this one actually felt more like a city or something.

BRD was awesome. I did it when I was of level to do it like one and a half years ago, with some friends. No map, no real knowledge, took like 4-5 hours, but was a ton of fun.

...man, I wish I had time for impromptu marathon sessions like that these days.

This might seem weird but lately I've been reading a lot (past 8 weeks?) on MMO Champ on the "blue posts" since I wanted to know upfront what's happening to DK/system changes.

Maybe it's the way it's written or the way things are addressed by Blizzard but I've taken their approach of posting regular updates and/or making my own "blue style" posts at work to this team of about 10-15 users we support with their website (part of my team's job is that we handle the functionality/feel changes to their request). Surprisingly the last few weeks they've shut up a lot more (these are really stupid users) and have stopped bugging me as much. I've also done this within our own team/office on our changes and also other minor projects I've been tasked with.

I do feel accomplished though, and my writing style has also adapted a bit more to a more formal style when addressing issues and telling them we are aware of X and Y and that we are fixing it etc. Communication ftw! XD

Finished up BRD and DM for Classic Dungeonmaster.

Had the brilliant idea to use Direbrew's gizmo to skip half the dungeon since I didn't have the key only to realise I needed the key for ONE door past the Pub so I had to backtrack the whole thing and do the key quest anyway.

I think he's talking about the shadowforge key, I believe there's a door just beyond the Grim Guzzler (the one leading into the chamber of the 7 maybe?) that requires it.

No, Noobta's right, you need to feed Rocknot booze, then kill Phalanx to get past that door. You can also pickpocket Plugger for it or do a long, irritating quest for the succubus waitress (in Azshara!) to do it without making any part of the bar hostile.

You still need the shadowforge key to open the door past the chamber of the seven.

I got the drunk to open the Pub door, but I didn't know I needed a key for the The Lyceum just past The Seven until I got to it.

Hardest part about the shadowforge key is killing yourself and running back to the questgiver twice.
