dinged 82 last night. should be 85 probably by next weekend at the latest. also basically finished up Vashj'ir last night too, the storyline with the Battlemaiden is really cool.

Ran throne of tides for the first time last night with 4 guildies and a random tank. It was fun going into an instance where no one really knew what was going to happen...we didn't even wipe (although came really close) on the main boss. Feels good man.

Got these 2 in the same day. I'd been going back to dalaran each day to do my oracles dailies for my hunter, so I can get the egg, but have been stopping by gondria, and skoll's spawn points to see if I could get lucky. And today was my lucky day now I just need gondria for 4/4 and then once I'm 85...time to camp Courier Carrie...I mean Ghostcrawler

Where you could basically keep him pinned to the spike for 90% of the fight and ignore most of the other mechanics.

it's definitely fixed, i think some guilds that i know of that have attempted him took like 3 hours to do it. think we got it in like 7 attempts.

Just finished this. Some of these Achievements are stupidly hard at the moment and required crazy strats but was well worth the effort in the end. Seems to be a bugged mount at the moment too as my character flies in the middle of it

What was your strategy for headed south? That seems to be the only one worth discussing, everything else is pretty easy-ish. We tried staggering them one by one, didn't really work out great. Then we tried just trying to get him down as low as possible, then when the 2nd mob pops we we got them low/killed all 3 and tried to burn. That didn't work out well either.

The only way we see it working is to leave them up/low and just pop them at the end and just burn, that's all the strats i've read for it too.

For Headed South we took the boss down to about 5%, we used Holy Pala, Disc Priest, Rogue, Mage, DK Tank. It is all about if your healers can manage their mana for a 20 minute fight, thats how long it took for us to kill it. Keep whichever melee you are taking on the boss at all times then have the caster/tank deal with the caster spawns whilst leaving the 3 Melee Adds on the tank all the time. When at 5% nuke down the adds and then do whatever possible on the boss. As a combat rogue you can killing spree the boss whilst he moves you about in mid air which is enough to get it down.
