1-85 in a week and abit, also with a awesome rare pet!
Nothing too amazingly awesome.
Got my character(sort of, she -was- a Draenei but now a Belf) back Tuesday night finally. Ran around buying pets and mounts.. almost have Albino Drake and the Skunk pet.
Ran around grabbing me some new pets. Yay 20 stable spots and 5 active pets! Got the blue runed dog from Northrend and camped/tamed Ashtail. Still debating what else I want to grab for looks. Tonight while looking for Time-Lost I bumped into Skoll instead. Didn't really want him in the sense of camping him like I did my Loq ueback in the day, but I grabbed him anyway. He's neat looking but wish he had a more original skin like Loque does.
Freakishly large screenshot care of my boyfriend's much better computer/monitor:
Spoiler: show
Nef down.
Why the hell is the Dark Phoenix mount exalted rep? People who get their early kills will never enjoy their damn mounts because by the time exalted reputation is achieved, everyone and their mothers will have killed Nef. -_-
blizzard really screwed the pooch on guild rep / xp / rewards.
Guild rep is the biggest failure in recent history (imo). My guild id big enough for the daily rep to not be an issue.. but I remember them saying how they want even small guilds to be able to get rep np and that it would scale w/ guild size, but the guild rep nerf makes it impossible for smaller guilds to even remain competitive.
Actually, i take that back... tol barad is the biggest failure lol
My guild has only three people and we're still level one. :D
I'm not really sure why it's a big deal. Maybe I'm missing something.
A high-level guild makes xp much faster: 5%/10% xp bonus, 10% mounted speed, access to new heirlooms which cost simply gold and scale to 85.
Removing xp from achievements means that big guilds are progressing at exactly the same pace, no matter the actual skill of the players involved. Somewhere at the end of april, a bazillion guilds will simultaneously hit lv25.
Low level people contribute very little to the guild xp bar; a lv 84 quest in TWH adds ~12k. A level ~55 quest adds about 2k. So you'd have to do 6x as many quests at 55 to match the contribution of someone at 84, and that doesn't count xp contributions from killing monsters.
Many guild rewards require high guild rep to acquire. Guild rep is cockblocked on a weekly cap of 3500, which means 12 weeks to reach exalted (1 or 2 less, if you have a guild with rep+ perks).
All this adds up to is that formation of new guilds and guild transferring is very very harshly penalized. Starting a new guild is a long road. Guilds without the drawing power of top-100 rankings will find it harder to recruit. \m/ blizzard
Does the extra mount speed work in BGs or rated BGs? That seems like the best reward out of all of them. I don't really care about heirlooms or +XP/+rep, it doesn't seem like that big of deal to me. I'm sure some people will love it though.
There are so many really great perks, tbh. It's a shame that the guild rep system is so terrible.
Hunter in my group just soloed Foe Reaper in H-Deadmines, well not soloed because I was using the machine to kill adds, but yeah....

Get Alch Mount.
Also I had a good laugh when I figured out this works.
Something similar happened to me in dalaran on my druid. I pressed flight form and it never loaded so it instead had my cow flying and jumping around like the gnome in that vid, was pretty awesome
How long did it take you to find the recipe Dez? It's Tol'vir also right?

Our group finished ours today too. Headed south sucks
