[Correction]

I taught four people who'd never been to Heroic VH how to kill both Zuramat and Xevozz. I think that's something of an accomplishment with that combo.

Woulda been a lot earlier, but Xmas vacations left us shorthanded for a good while.

Snagged T7.5 Gloves, decided I'd try a more Crit-heavy spec recently.

25man 3drakes done tonight, but should have been done sooner, stupid holidays. and though I wasn't in it, our guild pulled a 10 man 3 drake kill this week as well. now to farm content till the next major update.

How hard is having 1-2 Drakes? I heard it totally changes the difficulty of the fight just even adding one. : p

Basically it ramps up the dps requirement from "don't have retards" to "have well geared non-retards" to "have excellently geared non-retards".

Sadly, since I only pug, I'll probably never get the clear with drakes up.

And yeah, it changes the fight completely. Need 4 or 5 solid tanks, good healers, and massive DPS. It's also a fight that you can't really breeze through and farm. It's easier once you do it once, but I still don't think it's something you can count on to one-shot ever.

1 and 2 drake really doesn't take much at all.

I run a full Naxx+Sarth+Malygos with a pug weekly on my alt, they are able to kill 2 drake. The DPS requirement for 2 drake is about the same as 1 drake really. If you are in a competent pug, I would definitely urge you to try to get them to try 1 or 2 drakes alive. Just make sure Shadron is the one being killed beforehand for 2drake.

i would leave the raid if a hunter was using a t-rex on sarth+2 or 3.

Try it with Shadron dead, and it's literally a total joke of a fight.

The landing times are static for each dragon...if you kill Shadron (who lands in the middle), the window to kill Tenebron is huge.

Tenebron will always land first at ~1st Tsunami. Shadron is always second at ~3rd Tsunami. Vesperon is always third at ~5th Tsunami.

If you had killed Shadron and left Vesperon up, you would have had roughly twice as long to kill Tenebron before a 2nd drake joined the fight. I watched a PuG do 2drake on their 2nd try of the day (after I convinced the leader of the pug it was really no harder than 1 drake).

Raptorjezus survived the entire fight without death (got to 1K I noticed in video) and got top dps, beat the 2X bestial readiness hunter by almost 1mil (and he's pretty much geared as much as I am cept using a cat).

Now to see if he can survive a 3 drakes next week... RaptorJezus LIVES!
