1/38(37 solo runs, 1 group run 2 years ago) on Reins of the Raven Lord. He finally put out just now and I'm soooo happy. I love this mount. As soon as I found out they removed the need for Druid I have been soloing it every day since I started playing again last month. Fuck yeah!

Now to go solo some of the other mounts for Mountain o' Mounts achievement.

After getting both Raven Lord and the Sunstrider mounts, I prefer Sunstrider, it feels too much like a chocobo

EDIT: and it's a bit bugged also, the Raven lord. if I'm in water and mounted, and I use Path of Ice, the raven lord is too fat to jump high enough to walk on water, so I sink right back in. I need to demount, jump and then mount. On the chocobo I don't need to :D

Yeah I noticed when running around Stormwind with him that it's REALLY hard to get his head above water while swimming. Just the top is out. I noticed some odd clipping issues with his head feathers, too. All of which I can ignore despite being picky like that. I just love his coloring and look. His jump animation is very bird/raptor like.

Going to try for the Sunstrider now. Actually went last night for the first solo just for the heck of it. No mount or pet, but nothing could damper my day at that point. Sunstriders are ok, but I wouldn't use it over Raven Lord.

as for my accomplishment, I managed to grab Akirus the Worm-Breaker, Licence to Slay, and Fury of Angerforge (Which even in its broken state it adds quite a bit of DPS. Cant wait until 4.0.6 and they reduce the ICD)

that was just spike damage for that fight, none of us other then mekriana sustain over 20K DPS, usually we always hover around 17K. I didnt mean it as yea i usually do 9K but it spikes to 20K, it stays in the same range but not a constant 20K+

So instead of it being the average over the course of a fight, it's an average over a 12 minute interval? ITT 12 minutes is a spike

It's a good dungeon to rack up 100g/run in in drops. Also, aside from the mount and pet, you can also get the Orb which transforms you into a Blood Elf (BoP) and also a 20 slot bag! So highly worth doing.

12 seconds. What guilds raid times last 17hrs

This is measuring a period of 437 seconds (about 7 minutes). Your dps is averaged over that whole period. There is nothing spike/burst about it.

Yes, I completely understand how to read my own charts. If any of you have used world of logs it puts the dps done of the entire raid duration into a graph. you can click on any point in time of the raid and it will give you the current stats.

yes at the time I got those number we had been active for 437 seconds.

If it wasnt worth trying to prove myself right I would just say, oh damn you're right, I do great overall AVG DPS,I'm a badass. But I'm not, I'm trying to prove that my DPS is normally lower but at that section of time between 17min and 31 sec to 17min and 43 seconds my dps spikes to 20K.. and yes at that point in time we had been active for 437 seconds.

It'd be stupid of me to downplay my own capabilities if that were in fact my overall average of damage done.

I could post at 17:49 when mekriana bloodlusted that my DPS spiked even higher to higher to 49K for a whopping 879 MS but that didnt seem logical

Two problems with that theory:

1) WoL does not provide live second-by-second data like recount, that dps figure is based on your global total. The timeline graph may show a spike but the table always shows global value.

2) WoL keeps 24 hour time. 17:31:00 to 17:43:00 is 12 minutes. Don't believe me, look at the timetable on the global report, and the timestamp on the report date. It's stored in hh:mm:ss, if it were mm:ss:ms then your reports would indicate that you are only raiding for two minutes ;/

Edit: Also if it was just a spike then your DPS(e) value would be way lower and more in-line with your real average, since that's what it's there for.
