I tried Arcane out because of the new AB cost changes on Chimaeron (we also needed the 3% buff but I'm not a team player fuck that!) and got rank 40 with my fire gear/enchants/reforges and like my 4th time ever playing arcane, I'm suprised no one does play arcane actually.

Biggest issue I've found is that on AoE heavy add fights, it is a pain to get much damage out of arcane. I usually stay fire/frost(pvp) spec for the most part and don't feel like respecing every raid day. I may give it a serious go soon tho.

He really hates fire and is lazy, he is only a mage because our raid needed one (his real main was a resto druid)... so he hates watching dots and timers are rather play the numbed down part of it. In return, he gives us 3% damage... so we get maybe half the damage back that he would generate if he was fire, not a big loss for someone who's first choice wasn't a mage lol.

Well heres how I see it (Fire AoE/Arcane dual spec). Arcane needs two things to be successful in a fight, little movement and single target. There is some theorizing on EJ that with the buff it may be useful on: Omnitron, Magmaw (depending on if your guild wants you killing adds), and Chimaeron. Right now using anything but fire on Halfus, Maloriak, Magmaw (If you need to kill adds), Cho'gall, and Valiona is a bad idea. I would actually be very happy if they found a way to make Arcane our single target spec and Fire our multi target spec, theres still a few fights that we just don't have a spec that excels.

That's how it happened for me, too. They must have upped the drop rate on the sewer rat because I'd fished for days trying to get that and about ten minutes after I started playing again I fished it up.

Fishing in Dalaran is so nice now. No more annoying tools dancing in the fountain while six people try to fish around each other. I hang out in Dalaran now when I'm just idling because it's lag-free and it's just so pretty. Fuck Org. And fuck lag.

Let's see. Today I did almost nothing, though I did finally start doing the Argent Tournament shit again. I figured it's about time to finish that crap off and become champions of the remaining cities I never did before I quit. Chillmaw is officially a joke now, not that it comes as a surprise. Aksannyi's accomplishments are boring in comparison to you hardcore types. XD

Finally finished the hell that was Tol Barad Peninsula and got the Spectral Wolf, Drake of the West Wind and Rustberg Gull. I then headed over to Sethekk Halls and Anzu coughed up a mount for me. Two places I'll never have to visit again.

Fucking finally beat Neferian. Ended up having to 3 tank it because the tank kiting the adds in P3 couldn't keep them off everyone else.

The problem was that some adds would die before the rest, so when they respawned he was out of range of picking them up. We just had the 3rd tank run around and pick up adds that came up early.
