Sweet!! thanks for the heads up. Makes things much easier. Im close to hit capped, but I always find expertise kinda worthless since hardly any fights force you to atk from the front. Glad to know I can still shred (this negate needing expertise)

Silly cat (kat?), expertise is worth nearly twice as much as hit in that situation. The value of expertise is two fold. It reduces a mobs dodge rate, at a value equal to hit reducing the miss rate. In addition, it lowers the monster's parry rate. Since on major dome bro you need to attack from the front (yet off to the side) on the scorpion phase, each point of expertise is reducing both its dodge and parry rates, meaning that it's more viable to soft cap expertise (781 rating) than it is to go for the hit cap (941?) Ideally, you'll go for both. Certain fight mechanics favor the use of hit and expertise, they greatly increase the damage of swipe (a missed/dodged/parried swipe offers 0 energy return, as opposed to a missed/dodged shred which refunds 32 energy). If I had to guess, you're probably putting your points into mastery anyway, so all you're giving up is some bleed damage for a smoother rotation, and in some cases (sinestra p2, alysrazor flying, rhyolith/beth swiping, etc) huge dps increases. A good website to use is wowreforge.com Since it's not absolutely essential to hit/expertise cap, you can enter in whatever values you want for the RSVs (relative stat values), and set hit/expertise to "close to" instead of "at least"

Slot, link me your feral gear please. Do you go for haste? I've started to push more haste lately over crit and I've liked the results. But to get any expertise means Ill need to reforge to expertise instead of haste for some things. And whats your input on mastery? Starting to think its worthless after losing my t11 2 set bonus. But unsure if that should be my go-to reforge

Mastery is still your best secondary stat, i've played around with haste and while its good, you tend to get parried/dodged ALOT since you are mainly reforging out of your exp/hit stats on your gear.

Ive been reforging crit >.>; I got to the point where I had 50% crit (self buffed), so I kept reforging it until I was closer to 40%. I find anything over 40% crit (self buffed) is just pointless since w/ massive crit's I still cant FB everytime I get 5 CP.

if your able to shred domo from a 60% degree angle... that means your atking from behind, so expertise shouldn't matter? Or is it one of those things where it counts as atking from the front but blizz knows being unable to do certain "behind mob moves" kills some classes dps so they allow it?

A mobs back is 240 degrees for most bosses now, that leaves a 30 degree angle on the front of the mob to still be parried, but allow you to backstab/shred.

well, theres two real setups I'd consider. The first being exp>hit>haste>crit>mastery, the second being exp>hit>mastery>crit>haste. Anything aside from that tends to be a dps loss/neutral/whatever.
    Stat breakdown:
Expertise: Helps every attack you perform, except bleeds already ticking. Helps apply the bleeds. This can help in crucial moments such as up top on bethtilac to apply a fresh rake and rip prior to jumping, instead of missing. The value of a refreshed rake will outperform the DPS of a shred (you'll have time off from the boss). On alysrazor, if you're haste capped, every missed attack comes at a huge cost since you're energy capping consistently. On rhyolith, expertise is swipe's best friend. On majordomo, you attack from the front, or prior to a jump, making every attack count. DPS neutral on shannox, no real advantage, same with baleroc.
Hit: same as expertise, doesn't reduce parry rating, making it half as good in certain situations, and equal in others.

Mastery: Stat that increases bleed damage - doesn't force you to change dps style at all. Value of mastery increases with any time spent off a boss. This can mean for example if shannox is running around and you lose a few rounds of autoattack, mastery is doing its job and the value of haste is decreasing. Mastery is bad for rhyolith, since swiping. Mastery is good for alysrazor flying, since haste and crit become useless stats. Mastery is not a strong stat for a burn phase, such as during a period of berserk, or during alysrazor's downphase. It's an "average" and safe stat, that increases in value with small amounts of target switching (lets say tab raking mobs) or if a boss goes out of reach.

Haste: This will increase your autoattack dps (making hit and expertise more valuable as well, since you get no refund for a missed white hit). Haste setups thrive on patchwerk type encounters with little to no movement and no downtime from a boss. On shannox if he's being kited, this can be a bad stat. On rhyolith, it increases your amount of swipes, but not by much. On alysrazor if flying, its a bad stat since you have a passive 200%. On baleroc, it becomes a great stat. On beth when jumping down, haste has no value, but it's great during her burn phase. On majordomo, when he jumps away as a cat, you have downtime devaluing haste.

Crit: great stat all around, but it just requires far too much rating for a single point of crit. I'd gemming/reforging for it.

Mastery is a simple stat to stack and have it perform well. Haste isn't. I've tried both setups and didn't like the haste one much for this tier. Too many mechanics bringing you out of range of a target, and when it has the same value as mastery, why not take the safer of the two.

50 kills total according to the Achievement Statistics page. That includes a few kills from 2 years ago when I played and was doing it for gear. Not sure when I started farming it at but I'd say atleast 45 of those solo farmed. That makes Mount #90 for me. Still need to finish off the jousting ones (3 left), working on Sha'tari Skyguard rep (3k into revered), and need to buy the either the expensive mammoth or get some Honor and buy a PvP mount.

Oh dur. Next week I'll be able to get Exalted with my guild and buy the Phoenix and Lion mount.

Went and did Heroic: Cho'gall so that we could get our healers Shard of Woe off of Sinestra. CG took about an hour or so, mistakes on conversion cc and all. Finally got to sinestra, and oh my god therer is so much going on, it's going to take forever :<

Any tips? I figure one easy change would be to get a priest into our group so that it isn't a paladin dispelling wrack one at a time later on in the timer...

Its probably easier to have one person controlling the dispelling on wrack, but i do believe holy pala & disc priest are your best healers for this fight in 10s anyway.

Shadow priest doing Mass Dispels w/ a 2heal setup makes it a lot easier imo. No idea if that's something you can swing or not. Either way, mass dispel is huge, so I'd have some sort of priest for sure.
