Smouldering Essences in 10M are reported to be 7 or 8 per heroic boss, so if you're doing 6 HMs, that's 6 weeks to completion. Don't know about normal modes, but in 25man, normal modes are apparently half as many. Assuming that also holds true, it will be 6 weeks for 6+/7 HMs, 7 weeks to completion for 4-5 of 6 HM, scaling down to 11 weeks for no HMs at all.

At around 150 cinders a week, it takes a little under 7 weeks to do cinders in 10. So, as long as you are completing 4-5 HMs 10m should be getting about 1 staff every 6-7 weeks, or about 40% as fast as 25m. That said, the first purely 10m staffs won't start appearing for about 8-9 more weeks, by then most HM 25s will have 3-4 completed.

That's fucking bullshit...we should be able to get more essences!

Kirix, or w/e the green spider rare's name is was running around for like 2 hours last night. I had it from earlier in the day, but i sat there for like 2 hours watching 10 other hunters fail taming that thing. I even told 3 of them step by step how I got the pet on my first try, WALKED THEM THROUGH IT and they still couldn't do it. The huntard legacy lives on. Was funny, though.

391 Haste/Mastery Shoulders from Shannox, Upgraded Sterilized Scalpel to 391, and grabbed T12 legs last night. Went from 373 to 377 iLvl :D

Yesterday I finally cracked 145k mana raid-buffed...and I probably am close to 150k after last night's pickups.

Also we finally managed to get a raid to kill H.Cho'gall so that we can possibly progress on Sinestra.

It's dumb though, it's like pulling teeth to get some of our raiders to do anything except firelands. Even when we never finished tier 11, even when people still need legitimate upgrades from t11, even when Sinestra still drops BiS items, even when we finish all 7 firelands bosses in 4 hours of total raiding (3h Tuesday, 1h last night). Nope, "doesn't drop anything I want, don't care" is the prevailing attitude for a minority of our raid, and that means it'll probably take weeks to actually get a raid together to kill Sinestra.

I finally finished Branch of Nordrassil. Slowpoke style. I really enjoyed the quests. Really embarrassing though, we still haven't killed Ragnaros.

Aurik, you really seem unhappy with your guild. Are these a bunch of rl friends or something? Why don't you try to find another guild that better suits your playstyle?

I would (and have looked around from time to time) but it's pretty tough to find a guild that simultaneously
* is short a full-time healer
* raids at times that fit
* I have confidence in being a better fit

Considering that we're already in need of a second main healer -- our current second healer is not very good and I'm pretty sure he's within a month or two of emoing out. If I leave then that group will probably regress to 1/7H or even 0/7H. So $25 (per character, eventually) and alienating my current guild, that's a pretty high cost unless I'm very sure of my move.

That and I do enjoy raiding with about half of them.
