heroic baelroc in 10 is easier also since it's way less of a clusterfuck.
I can argue this with you forever if you want. It has less room for error, a higher relative DPS requirement (though some people like to argue it has lower because 25m has more options for healing), and involves 6/7 of your DPS in shard soaking vs 12/20ish of your DPS being involved in 25man. 25man may be more of a clusterfuck as you say, but the room for error is far far higher, and if you do the healing equivalent to 10man, there's a lower DPS requirement (though you can totally opt to 5 or 6 heal it, making healing a joke but raising the DPS requirement marginally).
DPS is really not an issue unless you're doing it with undergeared people or something, my guild did baelroc last before h rag, so most of our players are rocking at least 383 ilvl and with 1 legendary and all im saying is what makes the fight hard is having 12/20 people with tormented trying not to spread aids to everybody rather than meeting dps requirement.
You have 8 people worth of leeway if aids gets spread. Yea the clusterfuck is worse, but if DPS isn't an issue, you can add an extra healer (so healer aids is no longer an issue), and even if it does spread, when only 12 people actually need to be involved (and that's actually counting 2 backups per shard already...in a perfect world, it's actually only 8 that need to be involved), you have 8 backups for the 4 backups already listed...I dunno, if we error and spread aids we just wipe, I feel like 25man can give it to a good 8 extra DPS and still be "fine". I guess my point is it may be harder to perfectly not spread aids in 25m (I'm sure it is), but the threshold to how perfectly you need to play is also lower.
baleroc is 10x as easy with that huge nerf it took a while back.. you could afford to lose some people easily now
Finally tamed Madexx for my hunta pet collection, although it wasn't one of the special colours. Surprisingly a pain in the ass to find alive since it's MASSIVE to start with, easy to kill and spawns in a questing area and on a mining route.
Just want those two spirit beast tigers which spawn in Hyjal now.
Yea, I'm definitely talking post-25m nerf, which roughly evened the 2 difficulties as far as DPS requirement (assuming 2heal vs 4heal, which is mechanically equivalent). Since said nerf though, 10m is slightly harder just because it gives less room for error (due to what I've stated so far, 2healing and if something goes too wrong with aids, you're just done....6/7 DPS are required to help out for the kill even with perfect movement on countdowns).

10m requires people to be much more aware and have much more skill, if we wanna call it that. I would be willing to say that on most any fights considering your margin for error in a 10m vs. a 25m is MUCH smaller on ANY fight. It's alot harder to carry in 10's, eh..
This tier is generally easier on 10 than 25, as opposed to last tier which was tuned terribly and was significantly harder on 10. I think Baleroc and Beth'tilac are the notable exceptions, for the reasons above.
* You have 19-20 dps for 2 shards as opposed to 7 dps for 1.
* Aidsing a healer is 50% of your healing output and almost certainly a wipe.
* Extending the enrage timer in 25-man is a viable strategy as it takes Baleroc much longer to chew through your raid versus 10man and you can do silly things like stack 4+ hunters without killing your buff coverage.
There is definitely more chaos in 25m though, because of more moving parts.
I don't agree for the 25m thing. The extent of this is "a perfectly stacked 10m on Rag is easier than on 25", but as soon as you remove that stacking thing, it's all eh...
Domo is a joke on both difficulties and easier than normal Rag with the current cheese strats. Alys is the same on both, and comes down to "don't stand in shit" "no, don't stand in that shit either". 2 of the fights that -were- easier on 10 (domo and baleroc) both got their 25m 10% nerf to HP before my guild even killed it on 10s. Shannox and Rhyo I don't think are significantly easier or different on either difficulty. 25man generally has more chaos, and more room for error amongst said chaos (and gears faster per person both due to more drops on average and a better tendency towards average droprates due to larger sample size). Other than that, I think it's pretty well balanced overall, and even within 1 fight, some aspects may lean either way (to the point you can't even quantify who the fight is "harder" for).
As I said a few posts back, 25man is still harder because you're much more likely to have the "herp derp" people, and if you choose 10 out of any 25man raiding group in the world currently, you'll get a higher average skill level roster with the 10.
I'd buy that. Difficulty is pretty close. I still think 25s are a touch harder this tier, but at worst it's pretty close as opposed to t11 where the difficulty difference was extremely noticeable. 10m t11 was just flat out harder.
For every fight that is "more chaotic" on 25, you can also argue the "more people = generally easier" factor. For example, domo is more chaotic with more seeds / more orbs. But then, he only jumps on one person at a time. You have more cooldowns to trivialize orb soaking. You can dedicate healers to roles in 25 whereas in 10 you really have to be more fluid with assignments.
One reason people tend to say 25 is harder is because the best of the best guilds are typically 25-mans for historical reasons. So when those guilds take a perfectly stacked and gear-accerated group of 10 who has already learned the fights in 25 to 10 man, usually the better people from the 25 as well. Then they roll it and then say "hey it only took us X wipes to (re)learn Y boss". So yeah, a lot of that is essentially, confirmation bias.
yea yea I know last tier but got this down, still a fun fight Sinestra Realm First...!

Bought a mount to match my tier set. So..much...red...
Finished our 10m push tonight, got Baleroc and Domo down, making us 6/7h.
Baleroc took a solid 20 attempts, but somehow managed to one-shot Domo with no prior experience.
Ranked in the top 20 on wol in FL tonight on my rogue. Highest I've ever been on any toon. My warlock routinely ranked top 100 as destro, but I never broke 25th.
Kinda funny as my weapons aren't 378's. Might go to mutilate now that the nerfs are coming and we lost our spell damage taken debuff. Combat seems slightly better on the majority of fights though =/
Finally got my Blue Dragonhawk mount. I've been really lazy about getting the last two mounts because I really didn't want to do the stupid jousting shit anymore. So I borrowed a friends lowbie alt and went into Ahn'Qiraj to farm the battle tanks. Got Yellow and Red on the trash before the first boss giving me 100. Reset it a few more times and I've seen 5 Yellow, 2 Red, 1 Green. Blue has still not dropped and it's the one I actually wanted. I hit my max for the hour, though.
Edit
Took one more run. Saw another Red and Green before a Blue dropped. Then had another Blue drop after I killed the first boss before leaving.
So that just happened.
Wow, very nice. I got a kodo today myself but already had one, why do they have to be soulbound instead of account bound![]()
