Got three of those yesterday, the gloves a few mins ago. Haven't put fur-lining on the bracers yet, since arctic fur is a bitch to come by. :/ Still need 10+ to get 440 LW.....

dude, arctic fur is a joke to get. Go aoe mammoth packs in borean tundra or mammoths/worms in storm peaks outside the hibernal cave. If you try for it you can get like 3-5 in an hour

Well, I read it's random from all mobs in Northrend, so I just figured I had to get lucky while skinning anything. I'll give that a shot though, thanks for the tip!

Not exactly an exciting 80 accomplishment, but in a couple hour period my priest, Deshado, hit 60, cleaned up on gear from the Ramparts and Blood Furnace.

And then shortly after received a tell from a random 80 looking to fight Onyxia (he just asked a random person to make a group with him so he could enter zone) and I ended up getting the Onyxia achievement and snagged the 18 slot bag.

Afterwards we tried to 4 man AQ 20 (got some gear upgrades but didn't clear the place).

Pretty exciting day for a "lowbie".

I do that pretty much every day and have never got a arctic fur off it. Actually got my first Arctic Fur last night off a mob in the nexus.

Think theirs a higher chance for arctic fur in instances then outside... although just mowing down masses of mobs and skinning it all usually works out. Like the tons of mammoths in borean near those uhh... elites that attack you if you kill an animal. Good collection for the +60/80 P food mats

or if you need cold meat I found a nice spot with mass of goats upper right cornerish almost in howling fjord between the horde/ally towns up top, its always good to have since the stupid cooking daily likes to do the "feast at lorderonwhatever(sp) that requires 12 chilled meat like 2-4 days in a row >.>

Getting arctic fur proves to be a pain in the ass while in instances, since far fewer monsters are killed that can be skinned (although, you can't argue against 2-3 borean leather per monster) Your best bet is to mass kill monsters. There's an equal chance off every monster (and I personally have not witnessed a higher arctic fur skin rating in instances)

I've skinned probably 40+ arctic furs, and while I sometimes just luck out and get 1 or 2 by following other people's kills and skinning them, or the rare one in an instance, I just mass mow down mammoths.

I prefer the ones in storm peaks, due to jormungar around there, and other people farm the mammoths often, so I can just skin their kills. Also you always get a borean leather, jormungar scale, or arctic fur. In borean tundra,while you can kill more monsters and they have less hp, you end up with alot of scraps. As a leather worker, I don't mind the borean leather since I turn em into decent profit, and storm peaks is much closer than borean from dalaran. If you're really looking to farm strictly arctic furs and not really care about the borean you get, i'd stick to the tundra.

VH is a pretty good place to be if you're a skinner. AN/Old Kingdom, too. I'm regularly seeing Arctic Fur looted there.

The drop rate is just so abysmally low that unless you win the RNG lottery you'll get them a lot faster by farming elsewhere and just buying the damn things.

Out of sheer curiosity, how many of the non-heroic achievements did you finish on non-heroic difficulty?

All of them? As far as I know, getting the heroic version of the achievement won't give you the non-heroic version, except in the case of completing 5-man instances.

Salty title after finally catching a Dark Herring. Started with about 3,200 fish caught fishing in Howling Fjord, I believe I caught the Herring on the 17,689th fish.

Also Timbermaw from Neutral to Exalted in about 3 hours.

Yeah the rep change is nice, annoys me slightly thinking about how many Stratholme runs I did for AD and how long I spent out there killing furbolgs for feathers though haha.

Oh well, just means I can do Guardian of Cenarius all the quicker

Yea, they don't overlap at all, have to do them on non-heroic to get non-heroic credit.
