After being 0/7 for 5~ weeks or so with a new guild. (only guild on my server that raids at times I can make it to) Out of nowhere, we 1shot 6/7. Any tips for rag10m normal? We're not very geared, I'm highest geared person in the guild and my resto druid is only 372.

You will have to wipe a few times regardless of how prepared you come to the fight, due to things not well described in any guide like the staggered seed drops and how to split your raid up in the field so that everyone is in range of a healer at all times.

Thanks for the quick tips. Our raid comp is, 1 resto druid, 1 hpally, 1 disc priest, 2 prot wars, 1 frost dk, 2 mages(I assume they are arcane), hunter, enh shaman. I know a lot of us have fairly similar geared off specs, my bear set is just about as good as my resto set. We got a few attempts in last night, seemed to be making progress on it got to 35%~ on last attempt but people needed to go to sleep.

I finished this last night too. I was pretty happy as well. Oceanographer was another one I was pretty happy to get off my plate. Sat around for like 5 months waiting for the Winter Squid to become available.

Heroic Baelroc down finally, but we havnt been able to kill Beth/Domo. Not sure how that works as people have said Bael was 2nd hardest o_O

Pre-nerfs anyway. Assuming you mean 10man, going from 3 swings to 2 per D.Blade made it a ton easier (and you have the option to 3heal now).

Domo is the easiest heroic in there so no idea why that isn't down, but I can see Beth or Bale being a toss-up.

About 30mins after I made my post we downed Beth and Domo, both 1 shot...which is odd because we havnt gotten very close any other attempt but w/e i'll take my heroic Shifting Vision chest and 6/7 achievement.

Guild decided to sacrifice this week and do the remaining achievements for glory of the firelands raider. Managed to do both Brushfire and Tornado part of do a barrel roll in the same attempt :D Stars alligned.

I also tried out the 0 points in hot streak talent tree and my god, didn't know it was this much better than with it. Alys pretty much went down like a sack of fucking potatoes before she hit 60 energy.

My group finally had a chance to put our 2nd nights worth of attempts in on heroic shannox in 10man, and 1 shotted it. Went to Heroic rhyo and had some trouble. Not really sure what will fix that. We're going to spend a little more time on him next raid, then give domo a shot on heroic.

Is anything else easy now in 10 since the nerfs?

domo is balls easy, alysrazor is easy. id do those two next in that order.

it's a spec used for alysrazor only. With hot streak and 25 stacks of blazing haste/alysra's razor your instant pyroblast is a DPS loss. Removing it allows you to spam Pyroblast without letting ignite drop off. Ignite can then stack rather high leading to an epic combustion. Which in the "downed" phase with hero, 25 stacked buff, trinkets ect, can lead to a massive ignite. When you've got about 10s left on buff or alys is about 35 energy, cast living bomb then instantly combust. And prepare to mirror/invis if your tanks suck.(mirror on the side opposite to your raid)

My combustion was ticking for 128k each, and ticked 47 times over 10s. I'm sure someone else has achieved higher, but definitely better than having points in hot streak.

My raid struggled a bit at first as well. Best advice is everyone needs to keep an eye on the timers. There will be a seed phase that coincides with Sulfuras Smash every time. We stack on the lip of the lava pool, but sometimes you get unlucky with Engulfing Flames also so everyone has to be on point.

Also for the seed phase make sure all of your ranged are spread to the back and any melee are behind the tanks and not in their run path from the seed phase. Make sure no one is to the left / right of anyone else depending on what side you're on ( assuming you're doing left right and not a ring around the platform ).

Usually the transition requires that you have all 10 members paying attention and never standing in shit to be not a waste of time. There is always 'that guy' who prefers the ez mode farming because they hate being held accountable.

Is fire that good of a spec? I've been debating trying it lately as a fulltime spec but arcane facerolling is just so relaxing.
