I guess that's true, I mean, we can manage that much DPS with 2 tanks...but I feel like if we tried 2 healers 1 tank, the tank would die around when the first add died. Maybe I'm wrong (or maybe I'm right and our healers are lazy).

Army of the Dead works wonders on Madness 2nd phase as well, they will taunt the big adds and take some hits to the face, letting stacks fall off the tank most times. It's how we did 25man madness, we had 2 DKs pop Army then swapped to Deathwing and burned him.

I'd say most 10mans have between 0 and 1 DKs. We happen to have 0, but army does sound useful for that! QQ too bad!

We had 0. With focused burn + cooldowns + healers spamming on the one tank + heroism, the 2nd add died just as the tank died. DW died a few seconds before the adds would have repopped I guess.

Ahhh, yeah in our 10man we didnt use AoTD, we did in the 25. Our tank died in 10man but our top dps was another warrior who immediately did a heroic leap away and the add died a second afterwards. The tank was a pally or he could have leaped away too and kept himself alive.

20 mins until raid, I decided to pack up and run into Forge of Souls to try for Battered Hilt...

1/1 drop lol on first mob -- I don't need it on main, but I guess I'll hang on to this until next expansion or something and try to make big bucks?

Someone mentioned somewhere, I think here, that you can transmog an item to look like it, is it still true??

EDIT: don't need it on main = I was going to give it to an alt for transmog, but then I recalled someone here mentioning it but I forgot the exact details

3/8 before the week's end. Too bad we didn't have more time to work on H'agara, she seems pretty simple.

Morchok is stupid easy, the rest of them in 10 at least seem tuned for having a legendary on every ranged

Doing Morchok 25man heroic tonight, seems pretty decent, not Shannox easy but nothing super major in regards to difficulty, though if we lose a single person, its a fucked attempt usually, especially if it's a ranged.

Kinda late but If you need cash, I'd try to sell that hilt Stig. They still go for decent gold.

I farmed one the other day and put it up on the ah for 8k. Advertised in trade that it was up for sale and within minutes I had a few offers of 7k and a few below. Sold within minutes.

I was on a fresh 85 and needed the monies though.

    ____

My accolade is going from 361 geared frost dk to 381 in the first week of 4.3. I'm not a serious raider, just like putzing around in lfr and the new 5 mans. I haven't even tried Firelands or any previous cataclysm raid content.

Trying to find a decent guild on Quel'dorei if anyone plays Horde there. My toon is Selitz and he's flat broke atm so I'm missing some enchants and using some cheaper gems since reds fucking skyrocketed with the patch. I blew through my gold reserve trying to make my new gear decent enough to not get bitched at.

I do not know who you are listening to when it comes to Resto Shaman stat priority, but Mastery is godly especially in the beginning of a tier when players are under-geared. Mind you that LFR is a throwaway and Mastery's place in that particular scheme of things is fairly low. If you are raiding normals or heroics, mastery will be a godsend. I can't tell you how happy it makes me hitting those 150k GHWs on a tank.

That being said, the trinket is in fact better than the Core of Ripeness. Mind you its only better if you can continue to have mana at the end of an encounter. Mind you, no current 5 man heroic and no LFR encounter should put you in a place where stopping to TC will risk a wipe or tank death.

Yeah I respecced into mastery pretty much. I am not specced into Telluric Currents, should I be or is that a completely different playstyle?

At this point TC is really a requirement for the spec. You simply do not have the required mana regen for a number of the longer encounters by default. While other classes have much lower cost on their AoE throughput thats simply not the case with Shaman. Toss in the fact that head to head, without TC during an average encounter, Shamans will see between 4-8k less Mana Generation than the other 4 specs. Yes we have Mana Tide, but unlike Innervate or Divine Plea, it effects everyone thus does not give us a leg up on regen versus the pack.

To put it simply, if you put a Holy Pally, a Holy Priest and a Resto Shaman next to each other with the exact same spirit you would see the Shaman fall behind by anywhere from 25-35% in regen. I do not include a Druid because, quite simply, druids can push out numbers with a lot less mana than the other 3 and tend to not run anywhere close to the same spirit values.

It is definitely a different play style. So you will have to adapt, but its basically a requirement. Like I said though, for simple 5mans and LFR, there really is no reason to take TC unless those 5mans you do are a guild group chain pulling.

Edit: Warlord feels extremely badly designed for 10 man...
The adds are so far apart unless your entire group is comprised of ranged + 1 Rogue

I would like to take my shaman seriously so I will have to revise my current spec and playstyle. Thanks for the input .
