Tried that last night, unable to heal 6 through it with rdruid rshaman hpal healers.

Probably because the rshaman and hpal are terrible.

We just downed H-Hagara 25man last night..to my amazing surprise, we used 7 healers and have ranged stand in the middle like was said. ranged have to communicate on the pillars, which we mark with 4 raid markers, and swap off them to bring them down to a certain % each, so that way the melee are always connecting with one and don't waste dps, so the ranged machine gun at the pillar that's about 2 pillars ahead of the melee and just follow behind them. Smoke bombs on transitions to help with the ice lance tanks to get in position to tank the ice lances, and set up a giant X to chain the lightning to make that phase last all of 10 seconds (make sure idiots dont have pets jumping lightning out of the lines)

25-man hagara is a lot different in difficulty than 10-man.

What's the deal with smoke bombs?

Is that what's randomly stopping my casting on Hagara? I swear I thought I was moving. I had no idea there were smoke bombs lol.

Smoke bombs stop the ice lances going into melee.

Also if you have death knights, they can dark sim Shattered Ice off Hagara for a nice 100-250k dmg shot in 1 hit.

hagara doesn't use smoke bombs, your rogues should. So you should be able to still hit her because you can shoot into a friendly smokebomb.

Finally getting back into raiding after my raid group, and guild almost, fell apart back in November. I joined the newly formed group last Thursday to help take down Ultraxion and this week we got up to the gunship again. Got my tier chest off Ultraxion to finally give me 2 piece. I have only the Raid Finder gloves of the set as I've been unlucky as hell in LFR. I love rolling against 10 people for one token. When I did LFR on Tuesday there were 7 Hunters total, 2 Shamans and a Warrior. (Funny because when I queue on my Shaman there's nothing but other Shaman heals and even Shaman DPS. Seems whatever I'm on is what the raid has a fuck ton of.)

Also got Black Bow of the Betrayer from Illidan after DS tonight. So I can pretty much call my transmog set done. The Wyrmstalker gloves fit the set sort of.. I could still use better gloves, but it will work. I guess I could use a better Polearm model, too. Bah.

Can you clarify this? Do you mean the ice lances won't target people in the smoke bomb and instead target ranged only? Or do you mean that ice lances targeting the melee won't fire?

We have 2 rogues so we might be able to set up a smoke bomb rotation to completely avoid the ice lance mechanic if the latter is the case. In the former, it's interesting but not nearly so powerful.

I believe it makes melee untargetable, or unhittable by the lances. Ranged still have to tank them, but it helps when you're moving Hagara to a spot where you are grouping up for ice tombs, so that way a few lances dont sneak in and hit melee. Id have to ask the rogues in my guild directly later today and get back to you.

Swapped JC on my Warrior, because I have an alt already with Blacksmithing/JC, but no enchanter and its +29 more stats, since epic gems have highest stats and chimera eyes have not scaled up. I also had a bank with around 80 epics so thats alot of Maelstrom crystals :D If I really wanted I could have taken Blacksmithing on my Warrior for +100 stats, but actually prefered having Enchanting since it's also a good money income and upcoming MoP I wanted to have Enchanting.

Finally, reset the achievement somewhere in the mid-20's the first time with a Shattered Sun donation.

Has anybody tried donating 1000g for the Shattered Sun title since 4.3 went live? Tried to find out if that bug still persists but only found one report of a person claiming that it's been fixed. Don't really want to start all over again in case they add another achievement in MoP.

To be honest, I have no idea. I was at like 23k a few months ago and got reset when I was running Gnomergan for shits and giggles, and I had no idea that bug existed. I put in a ticket and everything. I'd try something like that on an alt that you don't care about achievements with and see if it's fixed honestly.

Not sure if anyone remembers my bitchpost last year about how I was incapable of soloing Skadi and how I was pissed that it was so damn difficult to get to the elder in UP. Well, I managed to kill him this year (just barely, too) and finally, redemption:

Lost the roll on the Azure Drake that dropped for us tonight, but I won the Twilight finally. (I run a Monday night Mount Farm guild event. It was nice to finally see something drop other that the OS garunteed.)

Pretty much all I do is achievements. But yeah I have all of the Loremaster ones up because I want to motivate myself to finish them.

Yeah.. I really need to get back to doing Loremaster. I stopped after completing one continent, then just couldn't motivate myself to do it again. I did start a few months ago again.. did like two zones and stopped again.

Gnomeregan? By any chance, did you toss money into one of those machines? Only thing I can think of, at least that's the only thing Gnomeregan and donations seem to have in common. Regardless, gave it a try just now and donated the 1000g due to my lack of other characters, didn't reset my statistics, so it should be safe to donate money again.
