Oh I snipe people's kills with SW: Death all of the time, I just usually end up dying a lot. And for some reason I haven't gotten AV in the queue more than once over the past four days, which sucks because that seems like the one BG it would be easiest to get Wrecking Ball at. I'll have to track the achievement one of these days and just spam until I get it.

LMAO I just now realized that one of my team members in that BG was named Bestcocksuck, how in the hell did he get away with that.

Step 1. reroll lv14 toon hunter or rogue, full BoA, potions/food.
Step 2. proceed to murder everyone in BG.
Step 3. wrecking ball

Alternately be the gunner of the siege tank in isle of conquest and spawncamp players. Get a driver who doesn't leeroy into crowds and you'll have it in no time.

Destroyer's End on an alt in RL friend social guild get. An accomplishment because people on my server would rather invite someone with title and unenchanted 380 than someone with fully enchanted 390 but no title. Not that I can blame them per se, 95% of people who run up and /poke have subpar gear to say the least.

I have no desire to run RF to be honest, especially not in full PvP gear. I am terrible at raid mechanics in this game. PvP is much more my style.

Then we have different definitions of competent because if you can't avoid shit in a raid you have absolutely no hope against a decent player.

The difference in play between PvE and PvP is BS. Some people enjoy one over the other, but a good player can do both, and a lot depends on your confidence in each realm.

I like PvP because I can concentrate on killing people and not worrying so much about what I'm standing in. Sure, it is an issue in PvP with things like Consecration and Death and Decay, but those aren't stupid one-shot mechanics that I have to keep actively looking out for like Corobus in Stonecore or the safety dance in Naxx, etc. I'm not good at situations which force me to move, those things usually require really quick reflexes and for some reason I just don't have them. It's funny because PvP requires a lot of movement and a lot of instant reaction but it doesn't punish me nearly as harshly if I don't. I have a lot of trouble with my vision and depth perception, (I may have mentioned this before, I can't remember) so PvP is much better suited for me and quite honestly, much less pressure. Nobody cares about my DPS in PvP. Nobody cares if I die a few times in PvP. And nobody cares if I can't get out of the way of something in PvP.

I wouldn't say I'm god's gift to PvP either, far from it. I choose not to Arena because I don't have the time to devote and any partner would get annoyed with me for that. I have fun with it and I can hold my own against most classes (fuck Warriors, seriously), win some and lose some and I know all of the strats for each BG, so I stick with it because it's what I enjoy the most.

So while I appreciate the vote of confidence, I'll stick with PvP where I know that when bad stuff on the ground starts to eat me, it's not going to result in me being the one to wipe the raid.

I think what you're missing is that you like non-competitive "bottom end" goofing off in random pugs, which is basically exactly what LFR is.

pve experience doesn't transfer to pvp anywhere remotely nearly as well as vice versa

I know gladiators who are just borderline mediocre at PVE.
I agree with you that if you are extremely good at PVP it generally translates to being good at PVE but not always.

i dunno trying to raid with people like lycra was a massive pita cuz he's such a troll but like when he wanted shit from mgt he was as good as any dps you'd find, I've never known anyone that was really good at pvp that had any trouble with pve aside from dealing with morons heh
