How do you even get rep with him, aside from catching the flying gourami every day?

There are 3 unique quest-starting fish that can be turned in daily for rep: Flying Gourami, Mimic Octopus and Spinefish Alpha. You have the best chance of fishing these in the respective pools of their namesake (Tiger Goruami, Reef Octopus and Spinefish).
So far that's the only way I've found. Haven't really gone through external resources to find other source of Nat Pagle rep. Fishing for spinefish is particularly painful due to the amount of worthless garbage you hook from those water sources. So like all things fishing, I hope you like hunting for pools and spending hours every day for minimal gain.

Bought MoP a week too late, but finally reached 90 last night, pretty annoying questing with ground mounts. Half way through gearing for raids for this coming Wednesday.

Skipping quests/dungeons and moving on to new zones ASAP is less beneficial in MoP than previous expansions. Flight in Townlong and particularly Dead Wastes is invaluable in not wasting time.

you still get quite a bit more exp per quest, and a bit more exp per kill, with very minimal change in difficulty quest, by moving to the next zone as soon as you can

Thank god, too, I was getting so fucking annoyed with not flying in Dread Wastes, seriously Blizz, if you're going to make zones with numerous impassable ledges and different levels and make people run around so far out of their fucking way to get back and forth to a questgiver, let them fucking fly!

I still don't understand how people even need to enter Dread Wastes before 90. I'm not entirely sure that it was blizzards intentions to let you in pre-90 cause it's so easy to get 90 miles and miles and hours sooner using the rest of the zones. I had barely touched townlong when I hit 90, like maybe the second quest node.

I hit Dread Wastes at 89 without skipping a single quest from start to finish. But I also did not do any PvP, Scenarios or Dungeons while I levelled from 85-90. I'm positive that someone who does a healthy mix of the 3 will hit 90 in Townlong no sweat. I'm going to level my alts primarily in dungeons so that when they hit 90 it'll be before they unlock the gates to Vale so they can have flight for the last third of Kun-Lai and all of Townlong/Wastes. Just less pain that way.

I only did 3 or 4 dungeons on the way to 90 just for the quests inside each. No pvp, no scenarios, nothing else. Jade forest achievement > Valley Achieve > Krasarang achieve > Kun Lai achieve > 2 nodes into townlong I hit 90. It just doesn't make any sense to me to not at least que for a dungeon once in a while as a dps. The que is 20ish minutes and you can get a lot of questing done in between ques. Once you've done the quests in the dungeon, never do it again.

I never do dungeons to XP, always quest. The xp gain in Dread Wastes was far superior to that of any other zone. I had quests active from Kun'Lai and Townlong still and comparing the XP gains from the three there was a noticeable difference. The traveling was annoying as fuck but I was still moving along a lot faster there than I would have anywhere else.

I'm really not much of a PvE player, so running randoms is just something I'm not comfortable with. I did a few BGs when AV was the Call to Arms and before they raised the level of the guards or whatever that hotfix was, but that was also because it was SOOOOO crowded in Jade Forest on KJ.

It depends on your plans for money making. If you want to leave full, organized zones to clear out for gold then sure, that's the best strategy.

If you're trying to get to 90 as fast as possible, it's fastest to move to the next zone the instant you hit the level you can. As I said, the quests are the tiniest little bit harder, and give about 10% more exp per, plus more exp per kill in the process.

Some fucking requiem lock was sitting at that guy right on the cliff where you have to use the cannon and knocking people off with something, took 5-10 minutes to get backup and around to there.

My philosophy was to get to 90 as quickly as possible for Coren Direbrew, especially since my playtime was limited. I went the fastest route.

I can (and will) go back to finish other zones for the achievements, but I wasn't going to stay in a zone getting 170k per quest when I could get 200k per quest. Not exact numbers but it was something like that kind of difference.
