Hero of the Horde with 2570 rating or so. Really wasn't expecting it with how inflated RBG ratings were this season due to rampant win trading, apparently I just barely made the cut.

normals done (WEEKS BEHIND LOL!), got 2 piece head + shoulders
looking like a promising tier of heroics, although based on the tuning of week 1 normals I get the feeling we're going to need a few weeks of gear to get anything more than like 2-4 heroics down
heroic tortos down
Not sure if this is an accomplishment or complaint:
Finally got a drop off of Sha. Wrong spec.Still better than what I had but annoying.
Im still 0/10 on him so I would say its an accomplishment
Ilvl 500, huzzah to me. Now to slam my face into the green fire fight.
finally have enough ilvl and made the jump to stacking haste instead of mastery. I'm loving my numbers :D
So, green fire guy is ripping me a new one. maybe i'm just all clustered in how i'm doing things, but i get the imps down fine, but the chaos bolt and the cataclysm that follow do me in every time. /cry
To clarify, I mean Sha of Anger. I think there's more than one Sha so I don't want to be mistaken. This was 1/3 so it's not terrible. Still 0/3 on Galleon but since I have nothing else on which to spend my elder charms, I always get to use a bonus roll. (And still be disappointed when I get gold.) I'm disappointed that I waited so long to start doing Anger, he's really not hard and people really don't care that my gear isn't up to par as long as I don't do something stupid like die.
I will say that the world PvP from fighting for these spawns is fun as hell.

I used that guide above.
It me took about 4 hours of attempts to finally kill it, just keep throwing yourself at it until you have the fight down to a T then it should fall into place, I also cannot stress how important those macros are in that guide especially the fel flame one that is key to surviving. A tip from me about Chaos Bolts 90% of guides on youtube they portal out of LoS from the Chaos Bolt but for me that was just one extra thing to remember and it would creep up on me when I was dealing with the 20 other things going on at the same time. SacPack + Twilight Ward will completely mitigate Chaos Bolt so you don't have to worry about LoSing. Spec wise most guides recommend Destro for the spikey damage on fel pups but I did it with Affliction it's the spec I am most comfortable with so don't feel like you HAVE to be destro to win there is plenty of Demo/Aff vids floating around as well.
Sorry for the derail thought I'd help out a fellow Warlock in distress.
I'm using the same guide, I'm just fucking clunky. I'm making it to the felhunters without a problem now, but I'm just retarded when it comes to havoc and worrying about if big guy got freed, and dude blasting me with a chaos bolt while i'm psuedo-facetanking the fels, etc. /cry
What are you doing about them freeing big dude? are you just running the fuck away and hiding him somewhere?
You need to memorize the order of the fight and anticipate when the fel pups are coming, which for me was directly after the second Cataclysm 20-30secs after the Imps. I placed the Pitlord far away on the right side, then once he began to summon the fel pups I immediatley popped DPS cooldowns and started to kill them to the far left.
Yeah, I was clunky as fuck and I almost gave up at one point but everything will just fall into place and you'll win easyHang in there!
Eh that's a little different to me, I had the Pitlord charge the first felhound for the 6sec stun and 100% increased damage, Chaos bolt oneshots. Charge is back up in time for cataclysm.
Alas, my shitty geared lock continued to hit the enrage timer after getting the fight tacts down. Slowly gearing up in LFR now, which is slowly killing me.

Finished Lock green fire quest, stunning/portaling the boss during his curse of epic doom shit. i delayed the cast until 80%, finished with about 20sec left. quite possibly the most epic solo fight in this game. Glad to finish this, seems like I have no more goals left at this stage of the game. I'll log in next month to experience the story in LFR, then I'm unsubbing most likely.
Also went to Vault of Archavon to piss around with green fire, mammoth dropped lol. I was farming that shit so hard during my no-life days. Ironic that it drops last night.
Games where you can jump straight into the action are so much better than WoW's "u gotta wait 25mins for 6 healers lol" queues.
OH MY GOD FUCKING FINALLY
No wonder it didn't drop for me today.
Grats! It felt good knowing that I would never have to do that instance ever again when mine finally dropped, lol.
