Doesn't exactly compare to Ashes (cause grats, prettiest mount in the game and I'm super jealous), but I have been hunting two of the rares for this Meta FOR. EV. ER.

Got Aotona last night so I decided to camp today and BAM.

Funny camping for Vyra when you already have TLPD. But finally, my Northrend rare hunting days are over.

I was leveling my mage the other day (was 78 or so at the time) and ran into one of those. I don't know how hard that fight was to solo back then, but I escaped with a victory with all of 7 hp to spare. I think it is not wise to hunt thse until higher level, lol

That's pretty awesome considering cross-realm zones made that achievement a huge pain in the ass.

Tell me about it. I had to straight up camp a few of them, and I was pretty convinced Aotona didn't exist for the longest time. I almost downloaded one of those things that will move your character to keep it logged in and just went to bed with NPC_Scan on full blast but I'm not sure if that's bannable or not so I didn't risk it.

Pretty much quit now, bored within 10 mins of logging in. Everything seems pointless/copy of stuff I've already done.

Think I'll give my 900k to my last friend, who still plays regularly. Maybe he'll get some enjoyment from that, I sure as fuck wouldn't.

Last night, hop on my Hunter to do a wing of LFR before bed and friend/guild leader messages me about doing ToES. They're doing 25m. I manage to walk away with 3 pieces of loot: chest, set shoulders, and my sha-touched gun. Shoulders give me 2 piece for my set as I got the gloves off Sha a while ago. Really happy about the gun as I have been stuck using an upgraded heroic bow because LFR is mean.

Do Oondasta today, get double loot. Belt and ring from bonus roll. Freaking awesome.

Before doing ToES I took a friend with while I solo'd Malygos just incase the Blue Drake dropped because I already had it. It actually dropped and he was pretty happy. Tonight, I took three more friends with while I did it on my Shaman, and again... Blue Drake dropped. His fiance won it this time. So.. two in a row which I was rather surprised at. Too bad my Azure won't freaking drop. =(

Finished my Rogue's transmog set, not loving the shoulders but as there is no matching shoulders for the set, I'm working with it until a better pair comes along.

This makes 5 of my 11 toons on KJ fully decked out in a purple mog, working on finishing my purple army. Transmog is one of the most fun things for me to do in the game.

Once I finish the complete set of toons I'll screenshot all of them and make a lovely collage of all the purple.

I like that set I just wish it wasn't a plate robe set. I prefer the robes on clothies, and depending on how the sets look, on Shamans and Druids.

I will be using pieces of it for my Pally when she's high enough to solo BC heroics. Gonna be a nice mix and match set I put together.

after ramming our faces into horridon since the day this shit was released, we finally beat him and council in the same night. I got tier hands and legs from the first idiot. oddly enough, we wiped more to the first guy than we did to horridon and the council combined.

I swear jinrok has some kind of mechanism that triggers temporary retardation. We fucking 9 manned heroic last week cuz of no shows, had no trouble at all, this week we get a disc priest for the first time in like 8 months and we wipe to stupid shit on him like 6 or 7 times with 10.

i'm not the raid lead, but about 7 wipes in, the raid lead was trying to talk to them, and i said (quoted because they were recording) "Dude, shut up. all of you, shut the fuck up. fucking no. shut it. stop being fucking idiots. i will fly to australia and rape the next person that dies to stupid shit. Not sure this is an accomplishment, but I soloed http://www.wowhead.com/npc=21801 for a quest on my 67 Prot Pally with about 9.7k HP and no heirlooms.

I realize that Prot Pally is damn near unkillable unless you just plain one-shot them, but holy damn, that was easier than I expected it to be. Makes me wonder when I can start soloing BC heroics on her.
