Hopefully we are no more than a week or 2 out from that. Our first week of pulls we got him to 50%, so I have confidence.

Yeah, it probably wouldn't have taken us quite as long (we killed thok like 25 days before it) but one of our tanks missed 2 weeks, which meant I had to tank, which meant we had to improvise a lot for the belt.

Once he was back and I was able to be one of the belt people, it only took a couple nights.


It's a hell of a fight. I can only offer a bit of advice but it's a useful bit: lasers + mines is the easiest combination to deal with by miles in our experience. Missiles seem like the easiest, but the way they interfere with the others and magnets (and occasionally other missiles) is really really difficult to manage.

We're prioritizing dropping missiles on the belt simply because it's 9m damage (2% boss dmg) that we don't have to lose. Still learning how to stabilize after belt 3 which is empowered magnet + normal laser. We're getting close, I think we have a strategy on the wave that will work, just gotta get the execution down for it.

Farm day today, 3hr and we did all 11 farm bosses, so we're set up for 2 nights of progression -- probably 6.5 hours. Should be good.

Finally got my DK to 90! I had a bunch of Timeless Plate pieces so now she's got some pretty big item level disparities between the pieces she does have and the piece she doesn't. I don't plan to really do endgame stuff with her because I honestly suck at the class but I'll run around Timeless and get her geared.

I think i have my UI the way i like it, though would love a better rune management addon. They all seem to be broken except for this one.

I'm using mrunes, love it. It may be the same one you're using though, as there's a ton of customization.

I'm using ThreeRubeBars which gets the job done i suppose but i really like the way Magic Runes looks. Unfortunately i can't get that or mrunes to load for me.
